can you please (PLEASE) put the original accordion soundtracks back in? This mod convinced to to start playing the accordion :) , and I just got back into barotrauma and am really missing the awesome music.

@Jack Kellar i didn't make the sounds part of the mod, i just ported the original mod to lua, you can see the original author on the description

A small bug report to make I believe.

The mod allows you to turn options off. But it will not let you turn any options back on unless unsubscribing

Sound is big work, you've done a great job.

I have a few things I wanted to ask. Are submarine guns supposed to sound so dry? It sounds off to me considering it's underwater. Any plans on changing that?

Thanks for checking. I realized the problem is not caused with the regular Lua, but with the Lua including xpath.

99% of the xml files in this mod actually don't do anything, they were just used as reference when converting to Lua
i'll one day fix the errors related to some audio files, but it should still be working even with them

One thing I found a good news was I think I found an error spot. To go straight up to the point is down below. (Sorry in advance if I commit something make you feel bad.)

This audio Lua mod's slipsuit file looks outdated so that causes collision with other 3 mods: Europa war, transparent helmet, Die hard where fabricator dismantle slip suit or either fabricate it.
(vanilla based mod like 'backpacks' seems to make it dodge that collision)

Your version of the mod has slip suit that yields 1 combatDivingSuit and 1 rubber when the fab breaks it down, and when it needs the same to be built. however in any other mods, slip suit yields tungstenalloy and rubber. Things get worse with using those mods to get more enriched game experience to make synergy, because it makes collision so that after one mission accomplished users cannot go further and cannot use shop (everything get crashed at each time to look shoping list at shopper)

Hi Evil Factory, Ive been enjoying most of all your mods, and your dear parent mod: Lua for Barotrauma.

And one day, I was trying to roll a big bunch of 162 mods including Lua and 3 other total conversions not to crash each other. And I did fairly alright to manage many mod collision and collateral bugs and finally came to fix.

However, there are some insolvable issues remain (basically over my head Xp). They seems mostly compatibility issue because of game version at least to my eyes. So would you let me have any insight that to troubleshoot?

I seem to be having performance issues with this mod, so I won't be using it for a while. Good mod, love the reworked sounds, just- there are so many sound files that downloading the mod alone takes a while, and it seems to tank my performance.

Sometimes music starts overlapping. I think it could only be when the sub is flooded, but there might be others. Only have noticed it at moments when multiple things are happening.

Hey, would you mind helping me out with sound replacement mod or giving me some tips? I'm just trying to make a mod that overrides the sonar sounds with sounds of real sonar, but no matter what I do I can't seem to figure out how to do anything with .xlm and what I have tried has either failed or hasn't even been recognized by the game.

I've never modded anything before and don't know what I'm doing wrong, I just want to replace the sonar sounds with my own and then share it with everyone else through the workshop.

Also I didn't test all of the disable/enable sound options but I've tried to disable the submarine weapons' sounds and it doesn't seem to be working, the mods' sounds are still playing after disabling

The ambient sounds category should be separated into parts in my opinion, because most of the sounds in it are good but the water flow just sounds off

It seems like applying a volume increase to a person increases their volume for reach tic of them speaking. Even putting somebody at 101% makes them louder and louder the longer they talk

its possible to make a separate mod that uses the functions on this mod to patch the XML with other sounds, but you will need some Lua knowledge

the XML in the mod is only used as reference, instead the game's XML is temporarily patched using the Lua scripts found on the mod

Hi, that very cool to have this mod, working very well. I was wondering how can i add other sound. For exemple i want to import in this mod the diving suit sound from "Sound of Europa". I Could replace the .ogg but there is much more different sound in "Sound of Europa". I try to edit the divinggear.xml from your mod but it keep using the sound from your mod. the XML doesn't do anything ?
