@Astral Hagalaz is indeed brown to match rocks. I tried a pure white rune for Blank, based on the colors of Soul of the Lost, but it looked too close to the grey of Ehwaz

@erkyp3rky Nailed it, pink is the closest thing to the purple we know and love

@Astral i cannot speak for the author but we did comment earlier that we both psychologically associate the pinkish/purple colour with jera: jera is usually everyones favourite/the one that sticks in their mind, so that default purple rune colour also gets associated with it psychologically. thats my take at least

Dumb nitpicks about color aside, I'm actually kinda curious what the basis of Jera's color was [and Hagalaz to a lesser extent, but I assume it's just meant to be Rock Colored(tm)], were y'just kinda playin' around with colors and found one that was like "Yeah, that looks nice/pretty", or is there some kinda potential reference to it I'm forgoring about? <w>

Fair point, I do tend to forget that the shield is actually yellow, but I was kinda thinking that a pure white could be an alternative color option for Algiz, as to allude to the Polaroid or Book of Shadows [even if that's more flesh-colored than white], with Ehwaz being darkened just a bit if necessary to ensure there's a clear difference between 'em [well, the sprites are obviously different, but you get what I mean], but I can also see the issue of getting a good, clearly white color in the first place that doesn't consume the rune's sheen and make it look like weird white blob of sorts instead of a shiny rock

@Astral Thank you for the nice feedback :) You're right, that's exactly what I was going for. Ehwaz is the shovel, that's right! Ansuz I did plan for it to be yellow, but using yellow for Algiz's shield seemed more appropriate

I do like that the colors of most of 'em match up with how they function, namely Perthro [D6 red], Dagaz [Fly/Spider blue], Berkano [Soul Heart light blue], and I guess Ehwaz [shovel grey?]...that said, I feel like Ansuz would be better to be yellow, considering it gives a The Mind effect, but that's just me, very nice either way =w=

@erkyp3rky same! I might change it to be more pink though as those first 4 runes look a bit desaturated compared to the other 4

i like that jera is pinkish purple because in my head jera will forever be that colour
