I personally like the tape over the rivet look, but thank you for the mod. With the "legacy" mod stay updated?
Goodboy391 27 Nov, 2024 @ 8:03am
Yeah that's much better
MouToN  [author] 26 Nov, 2024 @ 1:52pm
My bad, I just checked, and this mod currently uses a 2/3 scale, not 100%, so portraits were actually 104x140.
I want to keep a "personnal military file" feel. While 156x210 would be too large, I think that I found a possible layout, with 130x175 portraits (scale 5/6, ie 83.33%).

I'll work on it when I have some time, possibly this weekend.

I never played Kaiserredux. Do you have any screenshot?

In this mod, portraits are exactly at 100% scale (ie the portraits have their native dimensions 156x210).
This means that changing it would result in either having smaller portraits (and I don't really want that) or using the game graphic engine to upscale them (we might lose sharpness).

Would be nice if it's the same size like how it's in Kaiserredux

I will update this mod as soon as the new patch is released today. If the original trait trees are patched, it might take some time, otherwise I'll just change the version compatibility to 1.15.*.

Nice mod, working fine.

Thanks for the feedback

Many apologies. It appears to be working for me now. I had an old mod of my own activated and it may have been conflicting with your mod.
MouToN  [author] 19 Mar, 2024 @ 7:59am
@Ian: sorry, I am unable to reproduce this bug: I can see spy portraits at the bottom of the screen, during operation preparation, on map, on the news that they have been captured...
Can you provide more information / a screenshot?
MouToN  [author] 19 Mar, 2024 @ 4:39am
Thanks for the report, I'll investigate this today

Bug - portraits for secret agents are affected -when this mod is enabled the agent image is blank.
MouToN  [author] 7 Mar, 2024 @ 8:19am
It seems that files armytraittreewindow.gui and navytraittreewindow.gui have not been modified by the recent patch, so I'll wait tonight to update this mod.
Please let me know if any bug appeared.
MouToN  [author] 7 Mar, 2024 @ 6:24am
I plan to update this mod today, hopefully in the following couple hours after the release of patch 1.14.

The new bug is in armytraittreewindow.gui and navytraittreewindow.gui, in relation to the new tree highlighting thing.

Pretty sure I fixed it, this is both of the modified files.
DrStrangelove05 10 Oct, 2023 @ 5:08pm
Yeah all my generals and admirals traits tree are blank, and I'm using this mod. So hopefully it can be updated, as it's really nice!!!

@Nikodemonek :Thanks for the info. I could not find it on the official wiki.

If the mod doesn't modify the checksum and is ironman compatible then usually its multiplayer compatible which im 99% sure this mod is.
MouToN  [author] 5 Oct, 2022 @ 10:12am
@atoon toto: I sincerly have no idea. I have never played in multiplayer and don't know what is checked for playsets to be compatible. All I know is that this mod doesn't change the checksum (required for achievements).
atoon toto 5 Oct, 2022 @ 10:00am
do other players need to have this mod for it to work in mp?
Morgan-Giggs 5 Oct, 2022 @ 6:29am
Okay, this is one of the nicest quality of life mods out there.
Jingoes 4 Oct, 2022 @ 6:37pm
This looks like it should be in the base game - and does it ever look gooooooooood.
MouToN  [author] 4 Oct, 2022 @ 12:54pm
@Xherdos, even if I never played tabletop D&D, I had character sheets, in mind, when I designed it.
Xherdos 4 Oct, 2022 @ 11:27am
Honestly that looks like as if we open up a Document with all the Details of the current General selected General :)

Really cool!
happydewd123 4 Oct, 2022 @ 9:44am
its a really nice graphical mod, and i think it make the general trait menu look "brighter" and more open. thank you for the mod ^_^
MouToN  [author] 4 Oct, 2022 @ 7:23am
@Azelok. Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you're appreciating this mod.
Azelok 4 Oct, 2022 @ 3:18am
I normally only rarely comment on workshop mods.
But here I have to say I'm impressed with how well the mod fits into the more complex style Paradox is taking with HOI, it's a great job, thanks for this mod!
MouToN  [author] 30 Sep, 2022 @ 11:44am
I don't really understand: this mod is kind of a stand alone.
Almost any mod is compatible with it, so what is the difference between loading another mod along with this one in a same playset, and including this mod inside that other mod?
If you still want to use the interface files and graphic ressources I created without changing anything, I don't see the point, but why not.

However you have to know that I like to sign my files and sometimes game objects, with a unique id. In this mod, I chose "lpfttw_" for "Larger Portraits for Trait Tree Window". I expect that the odds of another mod using the exact same filename and object identifiers signature is very very low, but if some modders include my files and/or scripts, without renaming everything, then they won't be unique anymore.
So what I am asking of you is to rename every file (.gfx, .dds, .png - not the .gui one: it's a Vanilla name) by changing "lpfttw_" and every spriteType by changing "GFX_lpfttw_".
