Apologies everyone, a little slack of replies, time to catch up...
@Jess-itis - thanks and you are so right about the scissor.
@NotTildaSwinton - glad to hear it gave you some inspiration, those other variant sound good.
@DeathGamer - it should be in the blueprint, I have had problems with the thumbnails, but I'm slowly updating my older blueprint with a fix.
@TR-KnightForEyes - the workshop does indeed blind us to bigger things I feel, I'm still amazed this little build snuck through the algorithm gatekeeper.
@Kaito - thanks for the kind words.
@BIV - it's a little work horse alright, loving using it.

Great build, I have been wondering why one of these wasn't already around with all the ;no jetpack' and other games with similar difficulties. This would be great for the games with zero space suit once a small cabin is added of course. Certainly fills a gap in the work horse fleet, so good onya, Cheers mate.
Kaito 24 Oct, 2022 @ 4:44pm
I've had one of these for years for my no jetpack games. But yours looks way better xD

This is a moment we all go like "WTF I made hugeass ships... But Why Didnt I thinked about this!?"
The Commander 6 Oct, 2022 @ 10:37am
got this and it wouldn't show in my blueprint menu
NotTildaSwinton 5 Oct, 2022 @ 7:09pm
I am a very big fan of the aesthetic of this build, and how simple it is, and have incorporated the design into a few others that serve similar purposes (an ion version for space, hydrogen for both, grinder or mag plate for grinding and hauling, etc etc.

Thank you for the very cool design inspiration

Thanks everyone for the kinds words. I publish nearly all my builds just to share them, I don't plan or expect any of them to trend. The workshop can be a fickle thing and completely out of the blue this one ended up on the front page. And I'm so glad it was this Aerial Platform too, it's not the most exciting or complex build, but there's just something about it that makes it one of my own personal favourites, and if the community was going to share one of my builds on mass, I couldn't be happier that it was this one. It's not random selection ending up on the front page, it takes clicks, likes and favorites from all you fantastic community member, so thank you thank you thank you.

Popped on to the workshop on a whim and found this on the front page! That is sexy! Been meaning to build something like that for a while, but I am glad to see someone put some love into the idea. :D Good work!

Love the platforms utility, and people should just be happy to see good designs and enjoy them, all builds are similar to a point, and no one is the first to have come up with almost anything, everyone builds off of experience and things learned or seen. Even if someone came up with a box first, everyone who makes a box and adds a thruster or wheel to it doesn’t need to pander or even owe the idiot that made a box anything. People like that need to get a life and realize no one cares, if you like a design sub it and then use it for your enjoyment and eventually make a better one and post that and let the next wave of ideas inspire the next person to improve on your thoughts and have some of their own. If not don’t sub and don’t use it and move on.... or go back to you scrub box and sub it. Don’t tell someone to give credit to a scrub who mad a box back in the day and … OMG anything that looks like a box must be a copy. Ignore the constantly offended basement dwellers.

this is neat, i built something almost exactly like this on a server i played on, even had a connector to lock onto a walkway on a tower like yours

Thanks Siam, it didn't come across as an accusation, I just thought it important to clear the air. Welcome to the channel and thanks for pointing out the playlist order, I don't know what happened there, but all fixed now.
Siam 1 Oct, 2022 @ 2:57pm
@wellington6012
Not accusing you of copy without giving credit don't worry, I just notice in your mod collection and stufff that you do like splitsie too and I was feeling the same concept.

but yes your design is different, I just started to watch your serie after seing this mod (by the way the episode 5 is not at the good place in your playlist)
wellington6012  [author] 1 Oct, 2022 @ 1:32pm
Thanks everyone for the comments. I do recall seeing Spiltsies version, so I can't say it wasn't an influence, and those that watch me know I give credit where I can. I certainly didn't set out to copy and I do think this was more of a parallel evolution, coming up with a similar result when faced with similar challenges. Anyways, this is my first SE blueprint that has made it onto the front page of the workshop, thanks everyone for your support and glad you are enjoying it.
Dragon Fire 813 1 Oct, 2022 @ 9:43am
@Siam To be honest, at first glance I thought it was Splitsie's hover lift. Doing a "survival impossible" run right now and will certainly this.
Siam 1 Oct, 2022 @ 7:29am
I like it, but am I the only one feeling a "survival impossible" Splitsie's vibe here :)
Drpepsi7188 1 Oct, 2022 @ 7:12am
