You probably are in brush mode. Click the little button next to the search box until it shows some trees then you will be in all tree mode instead.
The new version on the TEST page has that fixed.You can subscribe to that one instead.
Ah, the shader that was failing to load under OpenGL and causing the pink brush is a rotation shader and is used to rotate the brush.
I have added it back in for version 1.4.14 which is on the TEST page but the rotation will only be available if it detects Direct3D.
great to see youre still here! i thought i read somewhere that this mod was long gone. anyways, thats why i thought i was having a bad experience. i cant place lots of trees its too laggy, is there a reason for this? thanks!

For anyone that has had the pink brush when using this mod, I think I have finally fixed it and I have uploaded it to the TEST page.
It would be great if a few people could check it solves the problem and doesn't break anything else then I will make it the new stable version.
Hi I responded on discord, but just in case you don't see it, the issue is that you are forcing OpenGl and it doesn't support the shader object.

I have built Forrest Brush Revisited against the new game code and have had a bit of a look at the new changes and I am pretty confident this mod will still work fine.
As always if you have any issues with it then leave a message for me here or on discord and I will look into it.
It worked fine after launching the game the first time after downloading the mod, but I just came back to the game and now the menu is like half off-screen so I can't interact with it essentially.
Is there a way to "reset" the menu position?
Harmony is a required mod to allow it to appear in the unified UI list. You want boformers "Harmony 2.2.2-0 (Mod Dependency)" version.
Almost all mods will require this mod dependency as it allows patching functions within the game.

You have to enable it in the CONTENT MANAGER section.
BTW, it was the UI icon that was messed up. All is well now!

The result is the little Forrest Brush icon is grey and only appears in the center of the screen and cannot be moved! Not the one on the dashboard, it's fine. I guess it's an extra like other mods I've seen that can be moved around the screen and used to activate the mod. Any thoughts? Thanks!
That's the error you get when you are subscribed to the old non "revisited" version. Can you check you aren't subscribed to the wrong mod?

But I regret the lack of brush for rocks and other props. It can be very interessant for making reef or somethings like that.
