I'd suggest using Fluffy's Music Manager to check if the songs are being loaded into the game. If they are, then you haven't gotten them yet because Randy's nostalgic.
If you have any mods that alter music, those too.
As a final note:
This mod does not *replace* Rimworld's music, it only adds more music onto it. Perhaps it didn't play out of coincidence.
It already functions though..?
It's 4AM for me, I donno what to say.
I thought I fixed those? That's weird.
My computer's busted at the moment so I can't work on the mod right now :(
Config error in 10_The Blast_Garden: defName 10_The Blast_Garden should only contain letters, numbers, underscores, or dashes.
Config error in 12_Brood Mother: defName 12_Brood Mother should only contain letters, numbers, underscores, or dashes.
Switched up some cues just as you asked.
Rift Riders is less janky, hopefully
Cataclysm and especially Rusting Hulks are the opposite, in that I can see how they're more laid back than the other tracks, but they still don't really fit as calm themes. I forgot that songs seem to be able to be set to only play during specific seasons or times of day, so using Fluffy's music manager, I've messed around with those settings with some of these songs. An example is that I've set Frozen Death to play only during winter.
Also setting Hive Leader as a calm track would fit the pattern that Seismic Activity, Brood Mother, and Frozen Death seem to follow!
Regardless, thanks once again for putting this together!
Fixed 13 - Zenith code duplicate
Made music louder in-line with Vanilla volume
Sure, discussion away.
Yeah, Warwalkers sis sometthing that may come out after VE Vehicles, that will come out after one of VE Team guys (i can't quite remember the name, rollo?) finishes their Vehicle Framework. Unfortunatelly there isn't much info about it, it was just put on one of the roadmaps. BUt yeah, big mechs based off the wrecks you can find with ideology DLC
My definition of fitting might be off, but I'd definitely recommend trying it! When raiders are incoming and any of the battle version songs kick off, it's great.
Fair enough about Subnautica. I was surprised when I learned Ben did the music for the sequel so that's the main loose thread tying my weird stream of words together.
I know next to nothing about programming and creating mods, but maybe I'll take the initiative!
Yo, the FTL ost fits in with Rimworld? I'll try that out, thanks!
Never played Subnautica, sadly..
Oh, I wish. Fire-level tracks in desert tiles..
A while back I found a mod that added the FTL soundtrack and I was and still am super happy with how well they fit into the game, so thank you thank you for allowing me to continue the Ben Prunty musical takeover.
If you're considering another one of these, there is always the Subnautica: Below Zero soundtrack. Although it's definitely got more songs, and might fit with Rimworld less.
On a side note, it's too bad there isn't a mod out yet to make certain songs play only when in certain biomes!
I agree! I bought the FTL OST just for this mod, I didn't want to disservice his music by taking it for free.
@Kayedon
Oh, thank you..
I'll fix that problem when I get back on my main computer ^^
13 Zenith is called for twice (lines 74, 80).
File names for soings can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, or dashes. No spaces.
VE What now?!
