is still work?

Suggestion: A version of this mod for significant settlements only. This would only include faction capitals like Altdorf, Couronne, Lothern, etc.. These settlements would become the most valuable and important.

Hello! When will the mod be updated to the latest version?
♥ 姫小猫 Sakurai ♥ 22 Aug, 2024 @ 2:35pm
Work fine for me in update
Myxameno  [author] 14 Jul, 2024 @ 12:45am
@dargonfish, those should work still. I heard of the issue you described before, it is usually related to activating some mods during an ongoing campaign. Starting a new campaign should fix that.
Myxameno  [author] 14 Jul, 2024 @ 12:44am
@AlExO_Ex0, I don't have a lot of free time right now to consider making any additional versions. But feel free to adjust the mod your personal use with RPFM, just open the mod and change the numbers to your liking.
dargonfish 12 Jul, 2024 @ 1:30pm
For the major capitols I'm assuming mods which adjust the settlement building will not be able to get the extra 2 slots since it says the building needs to be level 6.
Alexo_Exo 11 Jul, 2024 @ 11:40am
I really like this mod, it basically adds +4 slots to all capital settlements of provinces right? Is there any chance, if would be at all possible, to do a mod where it's just +2? This would be VERY appreciated. I just find +4 is too much for some factions and actually seems to slow down AI in my games because they take longer to upgrade settlements up.
Myxameno  [author] 10 Jun, 2024 @ 12:01am
@Logman, I'm not planning any additional versions in the nearest future. But you're welcome to adjust the mod for your personal use however you like. Just download RPFM and open my mod with it. Then you can just change some numbers to adjust it to your liking. It all organized in separate tables so it should be easy to undestand.
Logman 5 Jun, 2024 @ 11:18pm
Hi @Myxameno, I really appreciate all the mods you make available to the community! By chance would you consider making a "lite" version of this mod where it only adds an additional two building slots per capital settlement? Normal capital = 10 slots // race specific capital = 12 slots // one settlement race specific capital 14 slots, etc. I find I expand too quickly and always have available building slots with not enough money to build them up. A "lite" version of this mod would be amazing (=

@all, updated for patch 5.0.
Myxameno  [author] 8 Mar, 2024 @ 11:41am
@bo74k, what about it? Zharr Naggrund gets 14 slots and other tower get 12.
bo74k 8 Mar, 2024 @ 10:02am
what about the special capital city of the chaos dwarves ?
Myxameno  [author] 22 Feb, 2024 @ 12:00pm
@all, updated for Patch 4.2.
Myxameno  [author] 22 Feb, 2024 @ 11:51am
@Majora, I won't. Wood elves are too strong with additional slots already, especially if you also use an submod for their outposts.
But feel free to adjust the mod for your own personal use with RPFM, it is as easy as changing one number.
Majora 12 Feb, 2024 @ 8:59am
Can u please upgrade for 2 more for WEF?
Myxameno  [author] 23 Jan, 2024 @ 12:50pm
@HoneyBadger, well, there is no guide on how to "customise" other mods, as far as I know, but if you're interested you can start by joining the Modding Den discord channel, there are a lot of guide there as well as people who can give advice.
As for reviving dead mods, it is very dependant on the mod. Fixing a mod that changes some numbers on existing units or traits should be pretty easy to fix. Fixing an overhaul, completely new mechanic or faction is the whole other thing, which you unlike to fix quickly without some prior modding knowledge and experience.
HoneyBadger 23 Jan, 2024 @ 10:06am
@myxameno I'd be extremely interested in learning how to customize these kinds of mods. Is there a Youtube video that can act as a guide? Also, do you know anything about reviving old dead mods? I'd assume it'd be the same way I'd customize one of your mods, no? As always, thanks for the responses!
Myxameno  [author] 21 Jan, 2024 @ 12:38am
@HoneyBadger, I typed a detailed wall of text, but then Steam had a stupid and deleted the whole thing XD
So I won't type it all over again and just say this: I'm not planning to do additional versions due to limited time and maintenance load, but the tables are structured to be understandable and easy to use, so feel free to download RPFM and adjust numbers in the mod for personal use to your liking.
I also have a separate version I use, suited for my tastes :)
HoneyBadger 15 Jan, 2024 @ 1:22pm
Hey! Thanks for doing these series of mods. They are amazing! I was curious, you obviously have one mod that adds 12 or 14 slots to major settlements then you jump up to 20. Is there any possibility of doing a mod that handles the middle ground between those two values? Even if you have zero interest, appreciate any response and thanks again for the mods!
Myxameno  [author] 16 Dec, 2023 @ 2:02pm
@AlExO_Ex0, Zharr Naggrund being tier 5 with bunch of buildings from turn 1 is a vanilla thing.
MCT is a requirement for Mixer hence it is also listed as requirement here.
Alexo_Exo 15 Dec, 2023 @ 9:27pm
This mod works well for me but for whatever reason a chaos dwarf capital (Zharr Naggrund) starts at tier 5 with half the building slots filled with tier 5 buildings. Any idea how this could be happening? Also does this mod communicate with "Mod Configuration Tool" because I see it listed here as a necessary mod to go with it but doesn't appear in the mod tool list in game.
Myxameno  [author] 21 Nov, 2023 @ 8:49am
@all, updated for Patch 4.1.

As always, wait for Mixer and its submod to be updated before using.
Alexo_Exo 1 Nov, 2023 @ 12:01am
Okay so with the immortal empires extended mod it actually works as described, with the most slots (14/16) in the racial capitals and special provinces, and the standard 12 in others. Strange that the IE extended mod essentially fixes the issue with this mod and the one I had before, but I was planning on giving IE extended a good go so I suppose it's not a problem anymore.
Alexo_Exo 31 Oct, 2023 @ 11:53pm
I have tried the 10/12/14 mod (the main "more slots mod" before this was a thing) and now try this mod hoping something different, but I seem to just get 10 slots for ALL major/main settlements on the map, regardless if racial capital, special capital or just a main settlement of a region. Any idea why it will conflict? I do run a lot of other mods including playing with major SFO mod. I will try running IE extended mod with it, because with 10/12/14 mod I would just get 20 slots for all settlements except for racial capitals that would have like 17 slots randomly, and the same 10 slots for all without IE extended.
Myxameno  [author] 12 Oct, 2023 @ 11:29am
@Hoshi, do you use Alshua's Ellyrion? If you do then use also BSE Extra Races submod.
Hoshi 12 Oct, 2023 @ 10:23am
Tor Elyr (Top left settlement of Lothern) has only 9 Slots while all other major settlement have 12 in my campaign, but it could be a mod conflict here maybe, just checking..
Myxameno  [author] 2 Oct, 2023 @ 11:39pm
@Leo, Radious is now a startpos mod (for some reason) and as such is incompatible with Mixer (and BSE). They should make changes to their startpos similar to Mixer's building slots submod for BSE to work.
Leo 2 Oct, 2023 @ 1:31pm
Same problem as Felekis
but im guessing its because of radious its not compatible
Myxameno  [author] 9 Sep, 2023 @ 3:00am
@Felekis, Altdorf actually should have 16 slots and it does for me. So if you don't have any additional slots at all then I suggest you to refer to the FAQ in the main mod's description, since you're either missing something or have a mod conflict.
Felekis 9 Sep, 2023 @ 2:10am
Altdorf does not have 14 building slots for me. Can anyone confirm?
Myxameno  [author] 31 Aug, 2023 @ 10:27pm
@Razgrizz, it does not. I've tried to update through Prop Joe's manager and CA launcher doesn't seem to like it. I'll try to update it again.
Razgrizz 31 Aug, 2023 @ 4:08pm
Not sure why but mod manager is saying this is still out of date. does that even matter?
Myxameno  [author] 31 Aug, 2023 @ 8:30am
@all, updated for patch 4.0
As always, wait for Mixer and its submod to be updated before using.
Myxameno  [author] 25 Jul, 2023 @ 10:20am
@Majeed, you can and then minor settlements will have 5 slots on tier 4, which I guess you're going for.
Majeed 25 Jul, 2023 @ 9:20am
ok, can I use your mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2870592254
with this mod. if I'm using tier 4 minor mod for extra compatibility?
Myxameno  [author] 25 Jul, 2023 @ 9:15am
@Majeed, no, main mod already has these changes. Subscribe only to this if you want more slots in major settlements, but not minor. Or subscribe only to the main mod if you want extra slots in both major and minor settlements.
Majeed 25 Jul, 2023 @ 8:29am
subscribe to the main Building Slots Extended mod and this together?
Myxameno  [author] 29 May, 2023 @ 11:22pm
@Ryan_, Nanu changes the settlement buildings for Sartosa, so this mod doesn't affect them. You could use my Extra Races submod , but it will also change Sartosa's minor settlement to 5 building slots.
lore 29 May, 2023 @ 5:24pm
Hey, I've discovered a compatibility issue with Nanu's sartosa overhaul where Sartosa has 11 building slots instead. Do you know if I can fix that somehow? Tried moving it above Nanu's mod in the load order but didn't do anything. great mod though :lunar2019piginablanket:
Myxameno  [author] 28 May, 2023 @ 9:11am
@骑誓, works on my side. Please refer to the troubleshooting guide in the description here .
骑誓 28 May, 2023 @ 8:20am
All settlements now have 12 building slots for me,include Altdorf.
Myxameno  [author] 25 May, 2023 @ 1:18pm
@all, updated for 3.1
Note: You may possibly encounter some issues until the Mixer is updated. These issues would be related to un-updated Mixer, not BSE.
Myxameno  [author] 13 Apr, 2023 @ 12:32pm
@All, updated for 3.0! Chaos Dwarfs support added with 12 slots for major settlements.
Myxameno  [author] 6 Mar, 2023 @ 8:03am
@CheesyRamen, I believe you can add as contributors only people from your friends list, so feel free to send me a request, or you can just credit me in the mod description. I'm fine with either :)
CheesyRamen 6 Mar, 2023 @ 7:48am
@Myxameno given that it's a reupload with different values I think it's better to make it a standalone instead of a submod. How do I make you a contributor?
