Trying to decide if I need this or not, I have tier 4 settlements and have all the slots. Is this submod more about ironing out code?

@Wolfskrieg, what mods are you using? Just to clarify, you do understand that this mod gives additional slots for tiers 4 and 5, but not the tiers themselves? Meaning that IF you have a tier 4 minor settlements THAN tier 4 will have additional slots. But you still need a mod that will give tiers 4 or 5 to that minor settlements (there are some listed in description).

@AILON, please give more details. What faction do you play, what campaign do you play, what exactly are "necessary" mod you are using, what other mods affecting, buildings or dwarf race you are using?

I play for the Dwarves and for some reason this mod doesn’t work for me, although I installed all the necessary mods for this mod to work!

@Istros, it will require to basically change this mod from the submod to a standalone, which will lead to a whole bunch of complications and extra maintenance. I don't think I'm willing to do it.

On a side note, I don't play with T4/T5 mods myself, but I always thought that their main goal is to allow to build higher level buildings in minor settlements.

Is it possible to make a version where the last building slot unlocks when the settlement reaches Tier 4? Right now Tier 3 unlocks 2 slots which kind of defeats the whole purpose of upgrading your settlement to T4 since it does nothing for building slots.

@emiel123, I couldn't replicate this. I've played a several turns and notifications seems to be working fine to me. Either there is another mod interfering or maybe you just not noticing an upgradable building somewhere? You can also try to move this submod above the Tier Five Four All mod in the laod order and see if it helps.

This mod seems to make minor settlements have 5 slots while "minor tier five four all" seems to default to 6 slots. Tis isnt that big a problem but my game seems to think there is a hidden 6th slot which I can't build, resulting in a end-turn message saying I can build but I really can't. Love the mods :)

@Greg, that's because Radious submodders named the table in their submod in a way that will take priority and overwrite everything else disregarding the actual mod load order set by a player. So unless they change it, this submod won't properly work with Radious, sorry.

@mofocro, my guess would be that you use Radious Tier 5 submod. For some reason they set it to be prioritized over almost any other mod, so most likely case is their submod just overwriting my changes. So what you could try is to move this submod above Radious T4 and T5 submods in the load order.

In any case, that's Radious issue and I won't do any prioritization changes to this mod to avoid potential issues with other already existing or future dependencies. But please let me know if changing load order helps and I will update the description accordingly.

Hey, thanks for the mod. One question on the Radious + This mod combo you listed on the prior page, trying it out now and some settlements look correct, but then when conquered by a different faction, it goes from 10+ slots to just a small 4 slot city with no ability to build the main building. Can confirm the usual 4 mods works, and that it only happens with radious. I did leave the mod order as is but that still showed the issue and none of my reordering worked either. Just wondering if you have any idea on it. Tested with - Skaven conquering Southern Sentinels in the South West IE map.

Ahh, my apologies. It was late and I may have misunderstood that important bit. I'll let you know if any champ on here makes one.

I've looked for ways to get into modding (make my own "fixes" to missing mods), but I can't make heads or tails of it, the various tutorials out there and I've asked some modders on Da Modding den for assistance :p

@WhackyRavenLand, should works as is, but you need a mod that actually gives Southern Realms tier 4 and/or tier 5 minor settlement buildings. If there is one, but it doesn't work with BSE - give me a link and I'll look into it.

@Tucanonerd, yes, default order is the one mods are in right after download without any rearrangement by player. Basically you need to download this mod and all mods from the required items list (5 more mods), then activate them all in your launcher (important part, a lot of players miss this somehow) and don't mess with their load order. Start new campaign and there you have it - everything should work like a charm.

So it seems that BSE will work with Radious if you just use their Mixer compatibility submod.

It requires a whole bunch of mods, but it is working all together (I didn't do any in-depth testing, mind you, so there might be some issues). So you'll need:
1. Radious Overhaul (use all 4 parts, just to be sure).
2. Radious + Mixer Compatibility submod .
3. Mixer and Building slots submod for Mixer.
4. BSE version you like.

And like this you will have more building slots with Radious. If you want tier 4 minor settlements on top of that, then you'll also need:
1. Radious Tier 4 Minor Settlements submod (not Alarayn's one).
2.This BSE submod (or 6 slots version will work too).

Don't mess with the load order, it is working just fine as is.

@Cold, it was updated yesterday almost immediately after the patch. Mixer is not updated yet though and it can cause some issues, but Mixu is hard at work on it.

@[Dolt] Ewokz, I'm not aware what changes Radious does to settlements, so I can't really answer your question. But if it changes main settlement buildings or settlement leveling system, most likely some kind of submod or another version of mod will be required for compatibility between this and Radious.

@McNuggle, you should use both this mod and Alarayn's Tier 4 Minor Settlements mod. You can think of this submod as a bridge between Alarayn's mod and my Building Slots Extended mod.

@Marnok, it works as expected with the default launcher's load order. My and Alarayn's mods are changing different tables, so there shouldn't be any conflicts there. The only rule is that Mixu's mods should be on top. Current default load order is:
1. Building slot submod for Mixer.
2. Mixu's Unlocker - MIXER.
3. Building Slots Extended.
4. Building Slots Extended - Alarayn's Tier 4 Minor Settlements Compatibility Submod.
5. Alarayn's Tier 4 Minor Settlements.
