Report a translation problem
I'm likely going to want to rework large portions of this mod as I update it. I will be updating more urgently once mods are patched on the main branch. (Right now they only work on patch-test beta branch to my knowledge)
But very soon I'm going to be leaving the country and getting married. So my mods will not be getting updates for a bit. I will be looking more at updating them when I return, especially if the main branch of EoS has been patched.
Let it be known that the dev I've been working with has been very responsive and also seems commited to making sure they don't leave us hanging with the mods. So just try to be kind and patient with them, everyone. :)
I hope you support the modders so they can update their mods and please fix the modding stuff you broke in the last patch (DLC) and may also expand mod tools. Above all, the modder https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/TacticalFaux is willing to update his mods. His mods are the top 3 mods "Demographic Tweaks", "Hirable Goons" and "Increased Crew Size".
My question is: if I disable the new DLC, will the mods work again? Or should I wait for an update? Thanks in advance and great job!
I had a number of mods I was working on a bit to varying degrees but did not fully release-- new rackets, third person camera, new AI, the diplomacy change... stuff like that... Sometimes it seems like I was the only one modding this game lol :)
What discouraged me was the devs never added all the modding support they said they would. If they had just done that I think community could have carried this game to the stars even if they never updated it again. But as it is, we have much more limited tools than was originally intended.
@Ashbay Yeah I'm sorry! I keep tabs on these comments and try to provide people support if they have issues, but I have not actively developed in awhile. I've just had my hands full with life-- got engaged recently, among other things. I may come back and try to patch this up though because I don't want to leave it half finished. Thank you for everyone who has supported my mods. :)
@caliboy0286 I'm not aware of anything that would cause my mod to be the reason for that. Sounds like GPU issues...
I've been researching how to add generic guard squads to the player (I'm trying to make a mod) But from your point of view do you see it possible? because I can't find anything that helps me. It doesn't seem to be something implemented in the codebase either.
