Just in case anybody's wondering, coming back here, the failure-to-load bug that has been plaguing the game since Magic Storage 0.7 came out has been fixed on absoluteAquarian's end since June 26th. Also fixed for other mods that experienced the same issue, like Vacuum Bags and Gensokyo.

(If you're curious, the bug was actually with his library mod, absoluteAquarian Utilities, which released its 1.0.6 update concurrently with MS 0.7, hence why it took a while to splat the bug - everyone was focused on MS. Something with a newly added debug logging function was causing the problem, but only with some mods, so he disabled the logger by default and pushed it in AAU 1.0.6.1.)

(Shoutout to the folks in AA's discord, including other mod devs, who swung by to help, shoutout to the valuable lesson learned of never pushing an update before going on a break, no matter how sure you are that you tested everything, and shoutout to AA for rushing back to try and fix it anyway.)

The MagicStorage dev said that they don't know what broke the interaction between these two mods and apparently won't try to fix it, so it looks like we won't be able to use these two together unless someone finds a way to fix the issue, sadly.

For anyone still experiencing issues, it's on Magic Storage's end! I can't do anything about it.
Your options are: Disable Magic Storage, disable Verdant, or - if Pannoniae is correct - enable VanillaQoL and it should be fixed.

And for future reference, "still broken" is not helpful.

For those who can't load the mod with Magic Storage (it just hangs on the loading screen), I've created a patch in VanillaQoL to make the mods succesfully load.

However, it *will* crash when you reload mods! the root cause isn't entirely fixed, but you can access your characters

It's not meant to be consumable, you use it once and you have the effect forever. It was originally designed as a consumable but, in order to fit the lore, was no longer consumable. You can keep it or throw it away, it doesn't really matter (...but always check the shimmer.)

So far I'm really enjoying this mod. Is the Heart of Growth supposed to be a consumable Item? It won't let my character use it and doesn't say consumable

I'm aware of that, it's just because it's a hacky way of making them have waterfalls at all. I'd have to 'fix' vanilla code for that, which isn't worth my time.

I know this is really nit-picky but the weeping bud's waterfall texture messes up a lot when landing on blocks

Shimmer any of the 4 dye flowers from the Verdant in order to get a Glassflower, which completely disables the Verdant biome when placed nearby. I've had people ask for higher tile requirements, but it ends up being difficult to balance with intentional Verdant builds and unintentional ones, so the Glassflower was my fix for it.

Could you set the requirement for a Verdant biome a bit higher, like 100-200 blocks? I'd like to not immediately change the biome when I decorate my base with some leaf bocks.

Ok the issue is specifically with Spirit and Polarities

It did happen consistently with just the two mods. After i disabled the other mods in my modpack. But i exited and loaded the game and with just the two mods and it worked fine. I found adding the Polarities mod (new update) causes the issue. A new dev is taking over the project so and he says he is not as skilled as the original dev so i feel he is going to eventually get all the bugs out.

Does this happen only with Spirit on? Spirit hasn't updated in a while, neither has Verdant - and both most recent updates shouldn't touch much worldgen anyway.

There is a new incompatibly with Spirit mod, wordgen gut stuck when generation the Verdant biome. I have reported to them as well.

I love the mod, but I usually only enable it after world generation, because it tends to cut my jungle biome straight into half. Would it be much work for you to offer some adjustable size/shape?

This mod is incompatible with Terramon. When you summon a pokemon, it causes the entire screen to go black. If you go to the inventory screen (via ESC key), then screen is visible again. Exiting the inventory screen, makes the screen go black again until the pokemon is returned to pokeball.

I'm assuming Verdant's foreground/background system is interfering.

There seems to be a bug with lightbulbs and the passionflower bulbs, whenever I try to store them in the magic storage crates they just get deleted instead

HI, I have noticed some kind of bug with the bumblebee hives, it seems like if you have multiple hives in an area only the bottom right most hive will produce honey/pollinate.

Hey there, love the mod, but its causing problems with multiplayer play currently. Whenever people try to join a server with it loaded, it causes the game to infinitely request tile data. Unsure why something like this would be happening but I hope you can troubleshoot it because your mod is gorgeous and its sad to have to see it all unloaded in our world just to play it

It's been a while since I implemented that, I think it's optional but I can't remember. Disable or don't use Stockable Shops and the game will tell you if it is or isn't optional.
