They used to use the stuffed material stats but I gave them values in line with MO helms

Hello I don't use CE but how much armor rate does these have? Do they retain the armor stats based on the original helmets? or did you add some additional stats for it?
JoeOwnage  [author] 7 Jan @ 4:10am
ViralReaction might make a CE patch if you ask him
JoeOwnage  [author] 7 Jan @ 4:09am
I know nothing of CE, sorry
YourAbyssalLove 6 Jan @ 12:47am
This is still wildly unusable in CE for me, the armor rating is only comparable to a bowler hat lol

Some are iron and some are steel I believe. At the time I wasn't sure how to make both stuffable. Glad you're enjoying it!

Also seems like we can only use iron ingots as metal material. If there's a possibility of adding in being able to use other metals (especially steel).

Thanks for the great mod.

Very cool mod. Any chance of added hooded version of the fully open faced helms? All the version currently in mod restrict shooting vision to some extent or other. Looking for variations for my ranged pawns.

I think I see the graphic for the fully open faced versions in the pics on this mod page. But for me these variants aren't showing up in game.

Thanks for sharing your amazing work with the community

They use same package id so it shouldn't be an issue to use the unofficial
T3mplar 28 Jun, 2024 @ 5:28am
Small problem, the MO used is the outdated version, there is however an unofficial 1.5 version until the original mod gets updated, which who knows when that happens
vanillaification 31 May, 2024 @ 3:34pm
think we could get cloaked full plate?
JoeOwnage  [author] 11 May, 2024 @ 8:04pm
Oh no probably not anytime soon
The Dutchman 9 May, 2024 @ 12:47pm
They do, i mean for adding hooded versions of its helmets
JoeOwnage  [author] 9 May, 2024 @ 12:08pm
What do you mean? They should get along
The Dutchman 9 May, 2024 @ 8:57am
Dont suppose you could add support for the House Sanguine MO addon?
JoeOwnage  [author] 22 Mar, 2024 @ 9:34pm
Issue should be fixed for 1.5, I can push it to 1.4 as soon as I know it is working

Yeah i noticed it too that the helmets take the stats from the textile instead of the metal so in CE they are basically useless as they have as much defence as just a hood. Shame they look so damn good but until that gets changed i don't think they will ever really be usable with CE
JoeOwnage  [author] 16 Apr, 2023 @ 7:51am
Yea sounds like it needs a nerf
kanboru 15 Apr, 2023 @ 8:39am
To make hooded helmets more balanced you could put a flat armor rating same or less as the normal quality non-hooded version and change the stuff effect multiplier to same as a hood
JoeOwnage  [author] 13 Dec, 2022 @ 9:23pm
No problem thanks for the feedback
Lira 13 Dec, 2022 @ 9:12pm
Bit of a bug / unintended interaction: these helms seem to take their armor values from the textile instead of the metal, which means you can use devilstrand in them and achieve upwards of 190% sharp protection, enormously more than plain steel. If you can, I'd suggest tweaking them to take their armor values from the metal instead, although I'm not actually sure that can be done. They look gorgeous though, thanks for making them!

Ok, thanks for clarification!
JoeOwnage  [author] 6 Dec, 2022 @ 9:26am
It just means MO doesn't have a URL specified. Lots of mods don't
Knuti 6 Dec, 2022 @ 7:08am
Yes. But still strange. ;-)
JoeOwnage  [author] 6 Dec, 2022 @ 6:06am
That's just a yellow error right? Shouldn't cause any issue.
Knuti 6 Dec, 2022 @ 3:44am
There seems to be a dependency error. I got the message: "Mod Hooded Helms addon for Medieval Overhaul dependency (DankPyon.Medieval.Overhaul) needs to have <downloadUrl> and/or <steamWorkshopUrl> specified." dispites MO is active.
JoeOwnage  [author] 30 Nov, 2022 @ 5:45am
Thanks
ZX Zero 29 Nov, 2022 @ 10:42am

NotoriousNix 2 Nov, 2022 @ 6:37pm
