I did at one point, but due to the way the level is scripted, I can't dynamically load seperate AI pathing for different arena layouts. It's way easier in UE4 due to dynamic AI path generation, but UE3 doesn't do it.

Ownership of the map is in the hands of Torn Banner Studio now. I hope that they do a crowd, but I don't think there will be to be honest.
I was planning on doing it back when I was working on the map, but that was a finishing touch that I never really got around to doing.

Yeah, I have to say, that honestly, they have worked on the game and supported it for 3 or so years...that's way more than some big AAA developers who typically support their multiplayer games for one year. So I guess they have to move on to other projects so they can stay on their feet now. I am definitely hearing you though ;)

I am no longer working on the map. I haven't for quite some time, as Torn Banner now have ownership of the map and control any updates done to it.

Unfortunately I am no longer working on the map, and have not done so for quite some time now. You should definitely post it on the official forums though for Torn Banner to see so that they can try and fix that up.
I fixed it a few times, but the issue kept re-occuring randomly, it was something to do with when building AI navigation, the spawn points snap to the ground. I would say that in the last build, the navigation was rebuilt and spawn points are underneath the ground again. Either that, or before I handed the map to Torn Banner, I forgot to fix that issue (again).
Really glad you are enjoying it anyway, I would love to see more people posting videos on youtube :P

I would probably work on doing dynamic Team Objective mode for the map otherwise :P

Yeah, still no response on fixes either. I went to the effort to post the fixes, contacting devs on forums, got added on steam, but nothing done yet. It will literally take them less than 5mins to fix, then however long to update. Maybe it's because it's the weekend...

wow they really fucked up your map on so many levels. They removed the spiked ring which was one of the best things about it. TD, and LTS are fucked, gates will not open and you have full access to the rest of the Colosseum. Then on FFA, 1st level they fd up the Oasis with adding animated trees, grass and shadows....UGH. They also FD up the shadows and rendering distance.... There is still that reflection glitch as well.

The boat level seems better, wider boats and I like the addition of the stairs to the ballista but the aliasing on that level is horrible the same is true with the shadows on almost all levels. Not sure what they did to the water either but, too much motion and reflection, just looks weird,

The pendulum volume range is nice but it is still way too loud so you cannot even hear any taunts our yourself think, let alone talk using TeamSpeak or the like. It should only be about half the volume on most all sounds except maybe the horn.

That is not in this workshop version, that is the official version if you look at my last post, you can see what I am talking about. I'm pretty damn pissed off at Torn Banner for doing some really stupid things to the map. While they helped map performance, they shouldn't have touched any of the map scripting, because they broke it.

Unfortunately Torn Banner has wrecked the official version of Colosseum folks. And I have a feeling it will also affect this version too. There are some big glaring issues that are making the official release painful to play. I am going to try and work with torn banner to resolve the problems so that the official version is up to the same quality as this work shop version.
I'm not entirely sure why they decided it'd be a good idea to go ahead and fiddle with the map scripting, but ...someone on their team did, and they made a mess.
Time to try and fix that mess.

I know that they removed the water splash, which made me sad :( Perhaps they got rid of it because people jumped up and down in the water all the time....but it really wasn't that annoying.

Some of the sound attenuation was way too high on some sounds, so it played the same volume for everyone in the map, I hope that they changed that so the sound is based on distance.

The pendulums are supposed to be loud when close, not as loud when further away (you hear a faint swoosh instead of the rattling of chains/gears etc). But it'll come down to what the community feedback is from the majority of players. Now the map is going to get played a hell of a lot more, the developers will probably have their work cut out for them.

While I am not doing any further updates on the map, it looks as though Torn Banner have been hard at work fixing up some bugs in the Colosseum official release, along with other awesome custom maps. If you haven't got the beta version of Chivalry, you should do it, so that you can provide some feedback for the developers. They do a public test every now and then as well and I'm sure it'd be super helpful for everyone to jump aboard! :)
Keep your eyes peeled on the forums for tests.

Bloody hell >< I would say it's because the Colosseum map and assets are now in the official game, but not yet to an extent that players can select the map with ease. And I think that there might be a conflict of location as to where the asset is located or something.

Just wanted to say thank you to the massive amount of subscribers out there. All 18,012 people so far!
You guys rock. If it hits 20,000 subscribers, I may see if I can work on some new goodies in the map with Torn Banner and give you guys some new content in the map.

The major thing that I, along with many others would love to see, and have requested, is an animated crowd to bring life to the arena. That isn't necessarily something I could do without Torn Banner sharing some internal assets with me, but perhaps Torn Banner themselves can implement such a glorious visual feature which would make even a 1v1 match more exciting :)
