Gotta admit the guidance you give you your mod pages is pretty examplary overall, given the compexity and flexibility. Everything's covered really well, even a proper debugging scenario. Tons of links to navigate from one mod to the next relevant one for a certain setuü.... think you might be good without further clarification :)

For a modular setup with different "bases" I think the word standalone can be really good, but it's literally the 1st thing in description.Strong for WH3MM is that is has built-in.'Choose one or the other' message, at least for my brain. Hope you also get to play some 5.0 - or the mindblowingly beautiful Manor Lords in Early Access maybe.

@moonNNN, I think you confused this mod with a submod. This is a standalone version and is not compatible with the main BSE mod. If you want 6 slots in the main mod, you should use this .

Do not enable Building Slots Extended at the same time; otherwise, they will be overwritten.
But there didn't seem to be this problem before 5.0?

@moonNNN, everything works on my side. So either a mod conflict or Steam didn't update your mods. Please refer to the FAQ: redownload your mods, start a new campaign with only required mods.

thank you myxameno, took me awhile changing out some of the mods but i finally got it to work. I was using 2 of the wrong mods. i believe the main issue was I read it as needing "this" and the "4 and 5 minor..." mod as being components to add onto this and its equivalent. Didnt realise they were stand alone. thank you for your work.

@sins8, you can merge the mods using PropJoe's Mod Manager, but everything should work as is with the default load order. Maybe I can help you to understand what went wrong if you tell me what exactly is not working for you. But two most obvious mistakes you could've made are:
- you need use this submod and not this mod if you want to use Ramen's 20 slots version. This mod will conflict with Ramen's.
- you need to use a mod that give tiers 4 and 5 to minor settlements together with my submod. My tier 4/5 submod by itself won't give you tiers 4 and 5, it only gives additional slots to those tiers if they already exist in the game.

hello Myxameno, i was wondering if it would be possible to get a mod that combines your 20 buildings capital, 6 buiildings settlement , and level 5 settlement into one. I can never get the 3 two work properly

@Vanity™, it can be increased in startpos files, but this will require a separate mod and will make it incompatible with Mixer and all other mods that require it. So yes, we are limited by 6 slots with how Mixer is set up.

@Vanity™, I believe so. I haven't checked since mixu's building slot submod got merged into the unlocker mod but at least a year ago the caps were 20 and 6 for majors and minors respectively. When I get around to patching the 20 slot mod for minor factions I'll confirm that's still the case.

@lwgshr, the Bastion was never in the scope of this mod, since it changes only minor settlements and not gate settlements (bastion, forts, gates). Bastion had 6 slots due to some Mixer changes that Mixu apparently fixed now.

I can add slots to Bastion here if that 's what people want. Otherwise you can use main mod as it still changes Bastion slots to 6.

As to adding slots for WE, this would contradict the purpose of this mod - changing exclusively minor settlements. But you can just use RPFM to copy entries for WE settlements from the main mod to this one on your PC.

@Azeltorez [slacktivism], this is a standalone mod. If you want 6 slots along with the main mod, then you need to use the 6 slots submod version. Loading this version above the main mod will overwrite some special settlements and they won't have additional slots.

@549396386, I'm not going to, sorry. Having your own startpos files changes require too much maintenance with each new patch, and also makes it incompatible with a lot of other great mods by default.

@gdi_alliance, what do you mean by that? Will it break your existing save - no. Will it work with your existing save - depends. Did you use Mixer and building slot submod with that save from the start? If yes, then it will work, but only after you upgrade/sack/colonize each specific settlement. If no, then it won't work at all. General rule is that you're better off to start a new campaign.

@Duck mouse, the submod version is meant to be used with the main BSE mod to get 6 slots instead of 5 in minor settlements, whereas the standalone version is meant to be used by itself to get extra slots ONLY for minor settlements.
The difference in code between them is that the standalone version also sets some major settlements back to the vanilla number of slots, since MIXER has an issue where it changes these numbers (e.g. sets Altdorf and Castle Drakenhof to 11 slots instead of vanilla 10).

Only thing I can think of on the go is that you are also using main BSE mod and that is what causing the issue.
