No, since there isn't really much that would fit into the theme. Can't add the APC, Hunters, Helicopter stuff, because the player would never be able to use it anyways. And the uniforms and vests that are added are too specific to fit into OM as well.

@810 | S. Austin: It s not a bug it s a feature. At the start of the mission You can choose the standard mission save method or new method of saving using beds in safe houses, sleeping bags etc.

Got here to report that the radios couldn't be switched, and now they suddenly can again. Oops.

Played through Old Man and finished for the first time with this mod. Was pretty stable and saw most of the WS and RF gear (aside from drone jammer). Didn't know what the QoL fixes were but it was mostly bug free. The Ensemble level upgrades bug out though- maybe due to large saves (even despite using m3mory mod) where they require "Win Fights: 1e+...."). Ignored it for the most part.

Any chance there would be a version for Western Sahara's Extraction mission to have the same treatment of RF gear ported into it? Would love to use the new MOOSE and maybe even have the Cougar replacing the Orca heli. :jake::steamthumbsup:

1. You will have to start a new game.
2. You just have to own Contact to be able to use it, else you will get advertisements. It's not necessary to boot up the game with Contact via the launcher.

@Lexx: Thank You for the update. I have two questions if I may.
1. Do We have to start a new game in order to see the newest content (duffle bags, drones etc.) in traders stock or could We continue from saved game?
2. In order to use the drone jammer do We have to load Contact DLC in the Arma 3 launcher or do We have to simply own the Contact DLC without the need of loading it at startup?

Drone Jammer is running a very simple script that just checks for certain vehicles. It's honestly not very good and could use lots of improvements. For the mission it's working good enough, though.

No, this creates too much extra maintenance work. It's impact will be small, you can just use the RF compatibility data.

I wonder if there is a mod of an Old Man scenario that would let to have a few more people in the squad for Santiago? I was playing this scenario waiting to advance until I have a team to equip but realized that all it has are NPC battles.

Dr Drabek must be eating all the medicine himself because no matter how much i give him, he calls me after 12 hours to tell me he is out of drugs. After 48 hours he leaves the island. He says all his patients died while they are actually still alive.
I wish the medicine i give him would count because 48 hours is not much time to find the agent he wants to have.

Found a bit of an exploit: When at the highest Syndikat relations, you can sell maleria pills to the merchant in the main camp for a higher price then you can buy them, creating an infinite money exploit.

I restarted so many time the vanilla Old Man scenario with all possible combinations to have the Devil's Due achievement without success ...
Excellent new and many thanks for your effort to fix this beautiful SP mission, one of the best in my opinion with Extraction and Dunes.

I have an unreleased patch as work in progress, but there is no estimated release date for it yet. Could still take a while.

About the rebalancing - I'd rather not touch this, since there is a lot that can go wrong. The OM scenario is a complicated construct with lots of parts that rely on each other. The money economy in the scenario is indeed very flawed, but there is no simple fix for that either, especially since players can easily just loot dead bodies. It would probably help to just reduce the sales price of items a lot, but then again... this won't really make the game harder, you just need more time to farm items.

Hey guys, this is some good work. I have some questions.

Do you plan to update this further? The fix for the autonomous weapons mission fixes the problem with that mission most of the way, the task itself doesn't complete, however. The Devil's Due ending is still very bugged and will not complete more often than not.

And for a question out of left field - would you consider creating a mod (or updating this one) to better re-balance the OM scenario, so that there aren't so many patrols dropping loot, so much money to be collected so quickly, etc, in general making it a touch more difficult for people who have played it?

This update is big, and because of that, old savegames won't be compatible. Sadly there is nothing that can be done about this.

This is awesome, thank you. I have done some work with the OM modules myself, and submitted it to the community guide (specifically fast travel, rest points, and smart markers) but I don't understand this stuff. The modules are really buggy and their functioning seems to be tied to lines of code in the original mission itself. Would you be willing to share how you did this? And have you played around with the Insurgent modules? It's driving me absolutely nuts that I cant get those working

The OM system is very complicated and not easily explained. There is also lots of behind the scenes stuff that I don't fully understand yet.

That said, there will be a bigger update to this mod soon (probably this weekend), which will add more features, such as Western Sahara vehicles like the .50 Cal Marid and so on.
