Updated with 1.6 support.
kongkim 19.6. klo 5.08
Will you update to 1.6?
Alu 18.3. klo 22.03
make sure your download is updated

Thx for the quick fix - don't even wanna imagine the chaos if we were still reliant on just Hugs. :)
Alu 26.2. klo 1.25
rjw requires this so it can ensure you give them a log when you have issues with the mod
Scorpio 26.2. klo 0.51
@XxN1GHTMAR1SHDEM0NxX this is a publisher mod for logs , not the actual hugslib
dragonsphotoworks 22.11.2024 klo 6.56
The comment below yours has good explanation for it.
=>PR<= XxDEM0NIKSxX 22.11.2024 klo 6.54
i hate hugslib. why rimjobworld require this.
Alu 17.11.2024 klo 16.36
the only reason a modder would require this is cause they want to be sure you have it for log posting
InVinoVeritas 17.11.2024 klo 15.09
A certain mod is so annoying "No longer requires HugsLib" but doesn't describe that it needs this mod as well, until I loaded my game.. thanks for the mod.
gRaveyard 12.8.2024 klo 2.31
The publisher does work for me, but the Ctrl-F12 key doesn't, for some reason. XD
So yeah, I'm running both now.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 10.8.2024 klo 1.56
@gRaveyard

If you are running with the original HugsLib, and the publisher included in there is working for you, then you don't need this. However for some people, the original one does not work. Therefore the possibility to run this one "alongside" the original mod.
gRaveyard 10.8.2024 klo 0.11
Wait, if I have HugsLib, I don't need this, do I? Slightly confusing there: or alongside HugsLib.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 26.7.2024 klo 1.53
@Mlie

No worries, thanks for your amazing work maintaining so many abandoned mods!
Mlie 25.7.2024 klo 22.38
Yea, sorry about that. I always link to this mod in my descriptions and this time my publishing script got confused :)
Alu 25.7.2024 klo 19.04
Haha that's a mistake
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 25.7.2024 klo 15.59
Hi Mlie, I think you meant to post that on a different workshop page? :D
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 15.7.2024 klo 1.46
@Cinder Jack

Looks like the mod "Eccentric Tech" has a broken Harmony patch. Only the author of that mod (or someone with access to its source code) can help you with that.

@Tory

Thanks for the suggestion, Manifest.xml version and About.xml version are now included in the log when available.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 27.5.2024 klo 23.01
@Jet

You can open the log file folder from the game settings, then upload the "Player.log" file manually to some sharing service such as https://paste.gg
Jet 27.5.2024 klo 16.21
so im getting a time out when i try to upload my logs. what do i do? is there another way to share logs?
Tory 14.5.2024 klo 23.57
oh and thanks to Ludeon versioning has been added to the About files. That's another thing this mod could check for. I know some mods have transitioned away from manifests to that now.
Tory 14.5.2024 klo 23.53
This mod seems to not check and log the manifest files. Sometimes the main reason I would ask for someone to provide a hugslog so I can see their manifest version. So it kinda defeats the purpose lol. People are still loading this mod for 1.5 as well as hugslib and doing so is preventing manifest versions appearing.
kongkim 13.4.2024 klo 4.56
NP, just glad you fixed it :)
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 13.4.2024 klo 4.46
@kongkim

Thanks for reporting, this was caused by a mistake I made in the previous update, sorry about that. I pushed another update to fix it.
kongkim 13.4.2024 klo 4.19
@m00nl1ght

Update 2.1.2

- Added log upload button to the vanilla log window
- Fixed issue with BetterLoading that occured when other mods throw startup errors
DehakaPrime 3.4.2024 klo 9.10
@m00nl1ght

My bad. I wasn't aware of this feature and trusted my own antivirus too much.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 2.4.2024 klo 14.47
@DehakaPrime

Here are the analysis results [www.virustotal.com] from over 60 malware scanners. None of them detect anything in this mod.
Alu 2.4.2024 klo 13.43
sounds like a false positive there
DehakaPrime 2.4.2024 klo 13.37
Found a Trojan in this mod
Saranthyr 26.3.2024 klo 10.46
@m00nl1ght, thanks. Will do it next time. Found what cause the issue: it was Food pot: Perpetual stew mod - bug is known to mod creator, was partially fixed in today's update
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 26.3.2024 klo 8.53
@Saranthyr

For help with general troubleshooting I recommend asking in the #troubleshooting channel in the main RimWorld Discord ( https://discord.gg/rimworld )

Hello! Can someone help me with my log? Getting weird issue upon pawn not being able to eat anything: https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/a818a5d023f8d324eab7374e3246f93c
Aden 24.3.2024 klo 6.49
forget it just redownload the mod to update mod somehow
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 24.3.2024 klo 5.20
@Aden

That exception you posted is from the original log publisher in HugsLib. So this standalone one did not even load into your game. Are you sure you have it enabled in your mod list?

If it is enabled, the only thing I can think of is that maybe some other mod you have is causing problems during mod loading, similar to what happened to @Zeroy.

Looking trough your log, there are some errors from the mod "TD Find Lib", so maybe try without that mod enabed, and see if that changes anything.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 23.3.2024 klo 4.54
@Zeroy

No problem, glad it helped!
Zeroy 22.3.2024 klo 18.56
@m00nl1ght

Thank you very much for the clarification, I would spend a very long time looking for which mod had the error from my large list
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 22.3.2024 klo 9.51
@Zeroy

Thanks, that log helps a lot.
Basically what is happening:

- The "[SYR] Trait Value" mod is broken and throws an error during loading.
- This in turn causes the "BetterLoading" mod to break and skip some loading steps.
- Map Preview relies on these loading steps being run, so it also breaks.
- The same is true for this Log Publisher, which is why it was also not working.

Removing the "[SYR] Trait Value" mod should fix both of those problems.
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 22.3.2024 klo 6.08
@Zeroy

Unfortunately it tells me it's a private paste and I can't view it. You might have to set it to unlisted or public or something like that. Alternatively you can use http://paste.gg which should work with the default settings.
Zeroy 22.3.2024 klo 5.18
https://pastebin.com/9utVyTUD
I hope I set the privacy settings correctly (or rather, I didn’t touch them)
m00nl1ght  [tekijä] 22.3.2024 klo 5.07
@Zeroy

From that exception I can see that it is still trying to use the original (broken) publisher from HugsLib. So for some reason this standalone one did not load for you. The load order should not matter, there is some other issue going on here.

Can you please look for your Player.log file (in your RimWorld directory) and manually upload it to some sharing website, for example pastebin? In addition to the info about your issue with Map Preview, it could also help with figuring out why this publisher is not working for you.

@Gerewoatle I share in some of your concern, but let's be honest. Rimworld is a one of a kind game that will never really "die". Important people that lay the groundwork for mods will come and go over the years. One thing you need to keep in mind is that there is nearly always a new modder out there willing to take up the mantle of the past.

Rimworld isn't going to die. The mods aren't going to die. If anything, I would recommend you spend time learning how to fix these mods yourself. Some of this stuff is fairly basic and the Rimworld Discord has people willing to teach those willing to learn.
