So yeah, I'm running both now.
If you are running with the original HugsLib, and the publisher included in there is working for you, then you don't need this. However for some people, the original one does not work. Therefore the possibility to run this one "alongside" the original mod.
No worries, thanks for your amazing work maintaining so many abandoned mods!
Looks like the mod "Eccentric Tech" has a broken Harmony patch. Only the author of that mod (or someone with access to its source code) can help you with that.
"Hi, this is an ongoing issue that's being reported, but no one is able to help me figure out exactly which mods are conflicting here is the log https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/e9703ffbe90ccc1c24087124be0dfa67
Thanks for the suggestion, Manifest.xml version and About.xml version are now included in the log when available.
You can open the log file folder from the game settings, then upload the "Player.log" file manually to some sharing service such as https://paste.gg
Thanks for reporting, this was caused by a mistake I made in the previous update, sorry about that. I pushed another update to fix it.
The mod keep crashing for me.
Get this text, but no red errors, and have tried to redownload it and also manuel delete the mod folder, but still happens.

- Added log upload button to the vanilla log window
- Fixed issue with BetterLoading that occured when other mods throw startup errors
My bad. I wasn't aware of this feature and trusted my own antivirus too much.
Here are the analysis results [www.virustotal.com] from over 60 malware scanners. None of them detect anything in this mod.
For help with general troubleshooting I recommend asking in the #troubleshooting channel in the main RimWorld Discord ( https://discord.gg/rimworld )
That exception you posted is from the original log publisher in HugsLib. So this standalone one did not even load into your game. Are you sure you have it enabled in your mod list?
If it is enabled, the only thing I can think of is that maybe some other mod you have is causing problems during mod loading, similar to what happened to @Zeroy.
Looking trough your log, there are some errors from the mod "TD Find Lib", so maybe try without that mod enabed, and see if that changes anything.
No problem, glad it helped!
Thank you very much for the clarification, I would spend a very long time looking for which mod had the error from my large list
Thanks, that log helps a lot.
Basically what is happening:
- The "[SYR] Trait Value" mod is broken and throws an error during loading.
- This in turn causes the "BetterLoading" mod to break and skip some loading steps.
- Map Preview relies on these loading steps being run, so it also breaks.
- The same is true for this Log Publisher, which is why it was also not working.
Removing the "[SYR] Trait Value" mod should fix both of those problems.
Unfortunately it tells me it's a private paste and I can't view it. You might have to set it to unlisted or public or something like that. Alternatively you can use http://paste.gg which should work with the default settings.
I hope I set the privacy settings correctly (or rather, I didn’t touch them)
From that exception I can see that it is still trying to use the original (broken) publisher from HugsLib. So for some reason this standalone one did not load for you. The load order should not matter, there is some other issue going on here.
Can you please look for your Player.log file (in your RimWorld directory) and manually upload it to some sharing website, for example pastebin? In addition to the info about your issue with Map Preview, it could also help with figuring out why this publisher is not working for you.

I launched the mod after sorting in rimpy and after sending the log file to the server this error appeared
Rimworld isn't going to die. The mods aren't going to die. If anything, I would recommend you spend time learning how to fix these mods yourself. Some of this stuff is fairly basic and the Rimworld Discord has people willing to teach those willing to learn.
