Yeah I just got back into PZ and I very much like what the tarkov style interface has done, its a much nicer solution to this so I will update this as deprecated.

It turns out that the 'Equipment UI - Tarkov Style Interface' alread has an option to disable equipped items... and I was using that the entire time.

I don't recall ever noticing that. Just as an aside, if you are using the inventory tetris mod, you probably shouldn't use alternative rendering, at least as far as I know they would not work together. AIR is a rewrite of the vanilla inventory system.

The mod works fine! There is, however, a visual glitch where the equipped items will briefly appear and then disappear when doing certain actions. Reloading ammo is the one I can name on top of my head that causes that.

I'll remove the dependency, its been a minute since I made this so I forget the specifics, but iirc it required the equipment window because there would be no way to unequip things that were hidden. You can try it together with the tarkov style interface and let me know how it goes.

Does this mod absolutely requires 'QOL - Equipment Window'? This mod would pair very well with the 'Equipment UI - Tarkov Style Interface' mod made by Notloc, and removing the dependency with 'Equipment Window' would be nice.

Thanks dude, that's awesome

It wasn't working when I made this, nor has there been an update, so all I can say is if you don't need it, don't use it.

I dont use any patch for these two mods and ive been using that function since it was available to be used, so i'm confused as to why i seemingly have no issue yet a fix exists.

No, what it specifically fixes is in the description.

? doesnt this already work with both mods?

Thank you so much.

Could have a command to hide or minimize a bar without inventory of the equipped items would be much better

It works perfectly for me, thank you very much. :)

Hmm, That is weird, the settings according to the code are supposed to save to
C:\Users\<Username>\Zomboid\Lua\clothingui.ini
If I have time and inclination I may make a patch for that too, moving the button to the side of screen similar to how QOL Equipment does it.

Ahh, right on; I wanted to like the ClothingUI mod but the fact that the INV button keeps resetting where it goes on the screen and can't be hidden drove half our players crazy, regrettably.

Sorry for the confusion about that. The option is there, but its moved to the Alternative Inventory Rendering section. My reasoning is I was probably going to drop the hard dependency for QOL Equipment Menu, I personally wanted to verify that the ClothingUI mod was comparable. (i.e making sure there are no funky exceptions where an item would be unequippable)

Thank you for putting this together, it's something I'd been looking for myself; the only quandary is some of the folks in our small server playgroup are divided on QOL Equipment.

Ordinarily there seemed to have been a mod option to toggle whether or not to include equipment in the main inventory box, and with this mod active that option seems to be hidden.

Might it be possible to make it a per-user toggle client-side, so folks who insist on having the full equipment list in their regular inventory panel can continue to do so?
