I love this mod a lot I hope for a 1.5 update one day

however, i assume it should be possible remove the backstories and still use the names. just delete/move the def folder from the mod file.

for those wondering, it does not work with 1.5

If you have a pawn with a vanilla back story, will they still use british terminology?
That'd be neat if using mods like Speak up, and they have a back story from this mod, they'd talk british. Like is that how it works? Or does it just add british terms and stories in?

Its British Culture is a placeholder, and I would love to see the an army full of Englishmen to be... well... English.

Is there a certain style I can use for an ideology where all of my pawns will spawn as british or likewise?

I'm expeiencing the same issue as whenwe.srpski.65, randomly created backstories for new pawn are almost exclusively Britannic Rim.

@Rooboid thanks, glad to hear you're looking into it. it's likely because there's just so many, i'm just seeing backstories from other mods or the basegame at a much rarer rate anymore.

@whenwe.srpski.65 Ha ha funny commenter. I've not set them to occur more or less frequently than usual backstories, maybe because there's just so many of them. I'll look into reducing what factions they spawn with in the next update.

are the backstories supposed to be so frequent? i like them, they're well written, but i'm not particularly a fan of every other pawn generated being a chimney sweep, football player or toothbrush burner.

Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.
