Cannot find the files to save my life, seems like they're disabled by default in tournaments too. I assume you unlock crafting parts by smelting the weapons that you dare to spare

how i unlock the crafting parts?

To all the people struggling to find them, they're very expensive and so far i've only found them sold in battanian towns

Love this Artwork, and it still works a little bit tricky you get it though, with the Mod Character Management, their is a Way to learn Smithing Parts and then easy peasy, after 5h ingame i didnt found a way to get it on another way. still thanks for your work :) <3

@Big Gay Balls, try smelting one if you find one. Fastest way to unlock it. I have distinguished service mod and my little warband, my elite troops have one and when they get promoted I take it and smelt it then craft a new one for them.

I have unlocked every two handed polearm component and I still haven't unlocked a single part for the glaive any idea what am I doing wrong?

Open C/ , you gonna have "sort" next "view" next will be the 3 ...
CLICK ON THEM > OPTIONS> SELECT ALL HIDDEN THINGS TO SHOW.
YOU WILL FIND THE AEW.SETINGS IN THERE.
you can have them all "true" and you know where it is a prize

i am having trouble finding these swords in tournaments and also how can i get the parts i have tried to smelt expensive swords and axes but i get nothing is there any specific weapon i need to smelt to get the parts and how can i find them in tournaments i am playing in latest version.

If I remember correctly you have to make sure all crafting pieces are listed in the necessary weapon description. I.e. all crafting pieces that are in the "weapon_descriptions.xml" under "TwoHandedAxe" must also be listed under "OneHandedAxe" or "OneHandedBastardAxe".

What is the value on the Warblades? I'm using TournamentXPanded and I've only gotten Chael Nad'ra daggers so far. I maxed out all of the values in Tournament XPanded for the rewards and am level 20.

I lost the original models so I can't really tell. I then took the Oblivion models, cleaned them up for bannerlord and slapped some new textures on them. So you could say they're at least 15 years old :D

I initially thought about it but bows are significantly more complex since they're animated and at the point where I was making the mod there was close to zero documentation on how to add bows to the game. Not sure if that's better now.

ever considered making some Lotr themed/inspired bows and arrows and making this an elvish pack? the game is seriously missing some fantasy bows and re-curve bows

Go into the aew_crafting_templates.xml and remove the line where it says "<WeaponDescription id="aewGlaive2h_Thrown" />. That should hopefully work and not destroy things.

request: can we get a glave option that isn't throw-able? I accidentally yeet-ed my super rare glave midway through a battle (it goes to 'throw' mode by default) and thus found myself without a weapon...

I can't launch the game with that mod :(

i suscribed to this mod, and i can see the "craft" in game (playing the latest version)
but i have never seen any of these weapons in game or in tournament.

did i miss something? i see you guys talking about going to the files and stuf like this but... after i found aew??? what do i do with it? haha

Yeah, I know. That is exactly when Bannerlord determines the tournament prize. Just disable them. I can't show them any sooner. In earlier versions the tournament prize was selected when the tournament was initiated. Now the prize gets replaced when a certain number of nobles are in the town where the tournament takes place and pretty much immediately after that the tournament starts. It's aweful, I know, but not much I can do about.

somehow the notification for good prize tournaments arrive only moments before the tournament is finished, effectively making them useless

Yes @Asapping, I only push updates when there's really something to update. Just changing the version number for every minor hotfix is tedious. :)

Unfortunately that is Bannerlord standard, I have no influence over how crafting parts are unlocked @vacant. I think it's kinda random but favors the parts of the weapon type you are smelting. So if you manage to buy a warblade and smelt that it should yield a warblade crafting part but doesn't *have* to if RNG is against you.
