Thanks for 1.6 update! Just in time for my run, was really missing using it properly.
And looking forward to mk2 suit and UAC faction to make a comeback.

Any plans on Doom Dark Ages weapons and armor? Maybe some Eternal skins as armor variants too? There are some dope ones, maykr stuff especially.

Okay i give up a caravan showed up with 4 CRUCIBLES on their inventory... Just the 4 casual artifacts to sale for 35K each or you could kill them and take them.:steamhappy:

Great mod but balance is some off... The UAC heavy assault has a freaking DPS of 53... 28 with accuracy. And 80 armor penetration making everything else obselete. At least it is expensive to get. First raid was 8 bounty hunters in power armor with 3 of them and somehow that was 1000 raid points... That is from another mod of yours. Anyway again great mod.

No. This is a remake of the old mod, defnames have changed though all weapon and armor stats have little to no changes (so far)

Hey guys am busy for the next few weeks before I may get back into modding

To answer your questions:

- CE?
CE isnt my bag but the CE team says theyll patch this mod when its finished

- are you planning to add x?
Everything this mod had during 1.0 will return, i.e. praetor suit mk 2, it will just take time

- Rimdeed doomguy recruits?
Yes it can happen, funny unintended effect

- character editor?
My mod only adds new items and a scenario, any weird bugs turning up for character editor is an issue with that mod, but the short answer is yes

Hey Chicken Plucker. I know you're a busy guy, may I suggest one QoL change?

I use Thirsty Burst as an alternative to beer, so a bulk recipe would be great.

Just going to keep this subbed and unused till CE support comes out. It's possible to get CE to function by JaNkLy using RIMMSQOL but it throws an absurd amount of red text.

Hey lads. I've updated the mod just to make Crucible harder to create.

I just remembered that I did intend for it to be craftable.

Now it requires 20 intelligence and 20 crafting skills to create. I've also increased spacer component reqs to 25 from 10. I don't see the need or the sense in making it cost 1000 plasteel or 500 spacer components or that like, because it's a bloody hilt with an energy blade, not an apartment complex.

I'll leave the changes as is, still planning to add more to this mod but I'm drowning with career stuff atm so I appreciate you guys being mucho patient for the time being.

@Vex - Textures mate. Also for coding well, it depends bro. I'm very particular in how things are done, if you really want to give a hand you can find me on discord if you're on the rimworld channel. We'll talk about doing some projects together mate and continue from there

I do have a ko-fi there. I use the funds to pay the rest of the team in getting the mods done. It's not mandatory and I wouldn't wanna pressure people in donating but it's there as an option for speeding up production or securing features.

Just gonna be busy this early part of the year unfortunately.

@Eidos - HAR uses the .50 BMG template from Rimmu-Nation 2 stats. The stats designated to it is intended to reflect its effects.

And yes I checked Heavy Assault Rifle's wiki. It fires .50 BMG rounds, no way it will do only 7 damage to your body. If you've ever used the rifle in Multiplayer DOOM, it kills a fully armored enemy in 3 hits, though here depending on where the bullet lands it can penetrate powered armor and kill someone in less.

@ChickenGloop - I'll take a look later mate but this doesn't help me much. Please specify what vanilla expanded mods and I'll see if I can replicate it. I've just enabled this mod and Bounty Hunters with Vanilla Expanded Core and VE Pirates but didn't crash

Hello lads, I've been away on holiday and I'm busy for the next several months.

Crucible wasn't meant to be craftable so I dunn goofed it guys flippin' ell. I think it's Samuel Hayden trolling me boys.

Anyway this mod is unfinished, more things are supposed to be added but things have slowed down due to XMas and job. Will sort it at my earliest convenience. Love you guys and thank you for your comments.

The Crucible is way too easy to get for the damage it does.
10 advanced components, 2 components, 20 plasteel, and 10 steel.
For 334 damage and over 1000% armor penetration.

That is way too strong for how easy to get it is. Would work better as either being a BIG resource sink, or quest only.

I'm not sure why, but it seems that RH2 and your 1.4 mods force crash the game when using Vanilla Expanded. I'm not sure what mod causes it but it doesn't give us an error message.

In 1.3.3389,Starting new game that factions aren't spawning when generating the planet
and only one faction(Civil outlander union).

And Infestation can work but hive spawning without insectoids(get more red error)

In 1.4.3563,they can work.

Perhaps some conflicts in 1.3.3389.
I'm not ready to play 1.4.

@xp92110(orick) - Hey mate. I'll run bug tests today (get it, bugs?). I'm telling you now, the mod doesn't cause FPS drops on its own, the mod does not affect planet generation on its own. What we have here is likely a case of mod conflict but I'll run tests and see if I can replicate your issues.

@Wooden - Hey my friend! thanks for confirming mate, I'll have a look see. Crucible is tradeable but it has very inflated pricing. I'll give it a thought later if I wanna change that, since if Night Sentinels ever arrive the Crucible weaponry will become a bit more abundant in variety

@Chicken Plucker hey mate, thanks for the bug-fixing and the things added, much appreciated. Can confirm that baby is born (and pregnancy occurs) in the scenario, where both parents are slayers/hellwalker/etc. and baseliners. If both pawns are custom pawnkinds (vanilla genes, inheritable and ignore restrictions), there's now a message that states "pregnancy failed: exceeded metabolism limits" ever since last official rimworld update, which I've seen is purely vanilla error and I'm still investigating about it.

Can't confirm nor deny that it works with existing pawnkinds/saves, since now I get the vanilla message beforementioned. Nevertheless, flawless.

Can confirm that the Royalty DLC patch works, too (and works with existing saves, at least in my case). The message "Permanently hostile" no longer appears, and relations can improve or worsen.

I saw once a trader selling The Crucible, but never again, don't know if it's relevant.

@Clam Slamwich - What faction is this raider from? I'm gonna need more details. I've just gone through the Crucible's coding and it has no tags for any vanilla faction or any existing modded faction I've made.

Weapontags that aren't used by pawnkinds cannot just up and spawn for people, so I'm gonna have to question what mod you have that could've even caused this
