Report a translation problem
Last year mod worked fine, but now zombies do not respawn in single or multiplayer. (no other mods; respawn is enabled in settings; mod is set to 100% respawn)
My friend died and was reanimated as a zombie, which I killed since I was fighting off his zombie as well as a horde. By the time he came back to collect the loot, he had reanimated, but the zombie had none of his loot (and it was nowhere to be seen).
I'd imagine there's some sort of limitation preventing a fix, but I thought I would bring it up regardless. Great mod, aside from that! Really adds that extra challenge I was trying to make with my hardmode mod collection!
I have no idea if this would work, but if you run the mods together, maybe you'll get the effect you're looking for!
Just a warning though, if you're carrying one when it reanimates, it will IMMEDIATELY get up if you put it on the ground. So make sure you don't drop it!
If that ever changes, I would love to put in something like what you've suggested!
I want to play with a 100% revival chance, to encourage body burning (zombie respawns turned off), But 30 minutes is just way too short, and as stated cant use resurrecting zeds on MP.

P.S I tested without AOM and everything was the same (crawlers)
I think I'll make a second mod for people who have trouble with this one. In it, I'll put an extra internal function that will hopefully force all reanimations to not be crawlers. The only problem is, since I don't see the problem myself, I won't be able to test the mod. Instead, I'll send it to you and the other people who reported and see if its fixed for anyone. Then if it works, I'll make it public. I probably won't have time for the next few days but when it's done, I'll send it to you (though no worries if you'd rather not test it)!
PS AOM should be fine I think, I've used it with this mod on a server and it worked normally for everyone.
For the crawlers problem, I think there must be something you and SleepyNotDead have in settings or mods that's causing a conflict. I'm seeing people streaming with the mod without the crawler problem so it seems to be mostly working. Would you mind letting me know which zombie or animation mods you had enabled, if any?
I had a look at the code to see if I could put in the custom crawl chance for you really quick, but I forgot that I have to set that on the corpse (not the zombie) which the game makes difficult to do. I just have to do some more thinking on how to optimize it so your game doesn't lag every time a large group of zeds dies in close succession (eg. pipe bomb, assault weapons in mp, etc). So no solution just yet I'm afraid.
In the meantime if anyone else sees this problem, please let me know here. I'm hoping this is a mod conflict someplace, but apart from mods like night zombies, sun sensitive zeds, random zombies, etc I have no idea what it could be at the moment.
Vaulting Zombies, Susceptible, Zombies With Player Animations, Scent of Blood, Don't Feed the Zombies.
Could be that my RNG is so bad its only given me crawlers so far, but idk its been pretty consistent.
