Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
Did you subscribe to the Music Modding System? That is required for this music pack to work.
Also, are you playing with Long War or Long War of the Chosen? Those are generally incompatible with MMS and all music packs.
I put all the explore music in the combat section of the INI.
The music changes, but it changes to another explore track, which I'm fine with.
Thank you anyway.
It's unfortunate that base MMS doesn't blend seamlessly with XCOM's music system. WWise MMS does allow for that kind of quality, unfortunately I do not know how to make my music packs compatible with it (the steps are way different and twice as complex).
also when i read the credits and saw the sectoid imp bit i had to do a double take cuz it just blended right into things so well despite having been a fan of the doom franchise for years lmao
still sucks that the games internal issues don't allow this mod and many others to live up to their true potential
wish the game got a remaster by people that aren't 2k so that it could get the love it deserves, saying that from a place of love cuz xcom was part of my childhood growing up cuz my brothers played it and got me into the got leading me to eventually learn about and play 2 after it came out
Side note, Chad Mossholder did nothing but fuck up Mick's mixes, so actually adding him to the credits is a disservice to Mick :P
Me: "not... UNTIL IT IS DONE!"
No worries man, glad it wasn't a serious issue. I hope you enjoy it!
Amen, no problem brother.
amen brother and thanks
I really appreciate you giving it a try anyway despite it not working properly. Wish there was something more I could do to help fix the issue.
I'm not familiar with any of the Crysis games, but it sounds like it has a decent score. It's a funny coincidence seeing it was partially created by Hans Zimmer, since I just started work on a music pack for Modern Warfare 2's OST which he also composed.
I'm a little busy with other mods at the moment, but if you were to make a list of Crysis 2's OST and mark each track by where you think it would fit best in XCOM 2's gameplay (ambient tracks, combat tracks, squad select tracks, etc.) and send it to me, then I'd be happy to give it a try!
Hmm, is that happening every time you exit combat? I've had it occur on a couple rare occasions (as is the case for most music mods using MMS), but if it's happening consistently then I'd try deleting your Config file as described under the 'Issues and Notes' section.
Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with LW and how music packs interact with it, so I can't really say whether or not that's the cause of the issue.
Im using the mod with LWOTC (I know you mentioned that it isnt fully compatible with LW) and the pack seems to work perfectly except for the fact that combat music continues to play after fights are finished. Is there any fix to this or is it just a LW thing? Thanks :)
