i uninstalled it because i wanted to try a different style of campaign and now i always have a logo of the mecanic raise the dead at the bottom while playing empire, i do not know why, somebody tell me how to resolve this please

Archers would be a good addition to round out the levies, given their basic armament and non-State Troop affiliation.

Huge fan of your mod. I was wondering if there are any plans to bring this system to other factions. I totally get it if you don't plan to, but it's just such a neat concept.

I also have flagellant units for each of the empire gods, so kinda leaning toward making a religion/corruption for each and make the flagellants spawn in relation to the corruption

Not only that, but if you think about it, that's when you need Flagellants the most. Very few places that would actively be under attack would have the Religious building ready. The current system essentially incentivises you to farm flagellants. If Flagellants naturally spawned in Empire areas with high corruption and battles of legend, it would help the empire tremendously by being able to recruit chaff to die to fill any leftover gaps a quickly mustered army has, and simulate that they arrive uncalled and unprompted to armies and regions where great battles are about to occur, or places where it's clear things are going to shit.

It'd be nice if high corruption and sites of great battles could cause Flaggellants to begin spawning in the local pools even without places of worship.
Lorewise, Flagellants aren't even directly connected to the Church of Sigmar. They're people who've lost all hope for the survival of the world and are seeking to die in defense of their Gods to be granted salvation.

Obviously for the sake of gameplay, they're recruited from religious buildings, but for a Levy system, I think relating them to portents of doom would be very lore-friendly.

I don’t think that the current state breaks balance and Empire doesn’t end up too strong in the current setting. So I don’t see any probs here. Archers are still available from start at the main settlement.

It would break balance if the amount of units that can be levied at one time was really high. So, could a change to the unit cap and replenishment of the units each turn be altered to compensate?

Starting off with a freshly made settlement, I could see:

1 FC Militia - 20% replenishment
2 Archers - 25% replenishment
2 Flagellants - 20% replenishment

Maxed
5 FC Militia - 40% replenishment
6 Archers - 45% replenishment
4 Flagellants - 35% replenishment

The mod could also either alter the starting health of levied units to half or increase recruitment cost by 50% for each to compensate for the convenience. Haven't played the Vampires yet, so don't know how high the number of units they can recruit can get from Raise Dead.

This is a really simple but really cool little proof of concept sort of thing. If you wanted to expand this, I think you'd find a lot of support for it. Archers would fit in pretty well with this, as in lore they're mentioned to be hunters and trappers who have answered the call to arms.

I think I need to do something else as well in RPFM. I'm able to recruit 11 Free Company Militias in 1 province at once as Marienburg around turn 50 even though it says 11/3 so the limit is still 3 visually but I never recruited them so it just kept rising until 11/3 in this case. It's linked to script I assume?

I've started a Marienburg campaign (using MIXU) and they didn't show up so I added wh_main_feature_empire to the groups in campaign_feautures_tables. At first sight, that does the trick. Is there something else that has to be added/changed? Perhaps I'm overlooking something.

@zane0 : Thx man, I released that mod as standalone to give other moders a canva to give it to other factions, it does fit peasant pretty well yeah. As for archers I feel like it would break balance a bit as archers stacks can be powerfull.

First off, loving the addition and idea of giving the Empire a levy system. Seems like something that could be added as an update for the faction as a rework.

Second, while in the lore it makes sense for Free company and Flagellants to join armies, rather than just be recruited like regular soldiers. Would Archers also count as a possible addition since they also join armies when called upon?

Third, was wondering if you have any thoughts for future mods/updates for other factions to have a levy system as well. Seems like something Bretonnia would also do in emergencies and form up mobs and anyone who knows how to use a bow for archers.
