in the worlds with secret seeds "don’t dig up" and "get fixed boi" should disable by default Katana dropping from King slime, because Katana and Keybrand on these seeds have switched places and it is a postplanter weapon that breaks the balance at the beginning of the game

remember that there are quite a few bosses without a set of unique item drops

I'm not sure what any of these comments talking about but I have a real issue:
-decent Computer (can run infernum)
-single player
-large 28+ modpack (calamity, thorium, fargo, stars above, wotg, and a few others)
I found that having this mod on, even toggling everything off in the config, causes many small sounds to stop working (walking on blocks stops working but doors opening still works)
the only thing that seems to bring sounds back in terraria overhaul but it mentions how "audio frequency is out of range" and how it might crash

Please fix this mod as soon as possible, author, because I'm in the middle of playing Hardmode with my friends, and our world crashed because of this mod.

it might be WOTG, that mod is not multiplayer compatible

i just got 9 wall of flesh artifacts out of seemingly nowhere, when playing multiplayer. i don't know what caused it, but it never happened before

Is there an alternative way to get gold dust? Some mods use gold dust for certain crafting recipes and I'm not sure how I can find it anymore, I had to disable that setting in the config even though I truly do like the idea of it being the way to craft golden furniture.

Progression Break with Calamity and the Hell Cages structure/feature:

Minor Issue

Launch Terraria with Calamity and Wombat's General Improvements
Progress until Goblin Army (200hp, pre-boss)
Locate the Goblin Tinkerer
Buy 500 Spiky Balls
Navigate to the Underworld
Obtain 80 Spikes from the Hell Cages structures
Craft the Metal Monstrocity Weapon

This causes a progression break, allowing the player to obtain a post-skeletron weapon, pre-boss

Suggestion:
Add 'Brittle Spikes' Tile, which does not drop the spike item upon destruction

Although I don't fully agree with you, I do respect your decision. The removal of the luck factor from niche items just makes it so people are less likely to utilize them. I consider Harpy Wings to be niche because there are other hardmode wings with the same performance but are much more consistent to obtain - Frost Wings and Fairy Wings. Even after the recipe changes, Fairy Wings are still easier to obtain than Harpy Wings. All this does is remove the significance of lucky Giant Feather drops you get every once in a while which entices people to use the Harpy Wings in the first place.

Aside from that, please don't take this as a personal attack nor am I pressuring you to make the changes I suggested, it is your mod at the end of the day. I appreciate and respect that you take the time out of your day to develop this mod for the community for nothing in exchange. The majority of the features your mod offers are amazing, especially the fireflies in the Underground Jungle.

what a ridiculous suggestion. the entire point of this feature is to help eliminate RNG from grinding, NOT to make it inherently easier. you are not being 'penalised', you are playing the game with better consistency

Alternate crafting recipes should NOT replace the original recipe of items, but should be a separate recipe instead. One example is the Harpy Wings (changed from 1 Giant Harpy Feather to 50 Feathers). Let's say you get lucky and get a giant feather before you get 50 feathers, cool but no wings for you, keep grinding. Of course, the excpected value of Harpy kills require has been reduced from 200 to 100, but you should not be penalized in any way shape or form for using a QoL mod.

Hello, can we have old blocks and placeble as separate legacy assets? New look really different now, especially lights.

i have always wanted these candles to be placeable on both floors and furniture but it's proving difficult

I just realized candelabras can be placed on "flat surfaces such as blocks, platforms, and flat furniture items."

Very cool changes and the Overhaul compatibility is a nice bonus.

i'm not sure if this is doable without making them unplaceable on the ground which was the main idea

Ceremonial Candles seem to behave strangely; can't put them flat surfaces other than platforms.
If that was intended consider this a suggestion to change it to include tables & etc..
