For progress itself I've added a simple saving system, your money and upgrades will be saved. For now it's a bit jank but I really wanna keep it so I'll try to refine it.
Basically at this point signaler update is gonna be out when it's done(tm) lol
The server management progress is like at 90%. It has really silly and cool stuff in it that I think will surprise a few people. Rn I'm adding a additional gameplay thing with the batteries, to not spoil it too much, you can basically upgrade a standard boost battery to a better one.
I have some other item ideas but I think I should keep them for a later update. I don't wanna announce any dates anymore lol for understandable reasons, but I'll say that it gotta release this year, I'm locked in with some of the stuff I want to add and I'd say there's not much left to add.
The mechanic in question is servers, I'm not too happy with how cooling down is handled in current live version, very inconsistent, a bit tedious. One thing I can reveal about it is that I've replaced the button with a lever, so you pull it down to make it cool the servers and pull up to turn it off. On top of remaking how temperature and cooling works, I'm planning to expand the servers and make them a little bit more involved, basically a bit of server management.
There's also some events and fun items I wanna add before release. If everything goes really smooth then it might release in early January next year or maybe even sooner than that. Tho I hope I didn't overhype the update with these comments, the update is basically focusing on more of Signaler and reworking what was already in it
In the new version I'm working on, you still can't recharge them, but you can buy new ones from an item shop (you get money by downloading signals and researching them), already spent boost batteries can be thrown away (there's a trashcan that deletes non-important items you put into it)
