- If yes and it's not clickable, it might be maybe some monsters left // npc to speak to (check in the quest diary if it says something about it.)
- if the things are clickable they are the levers that you seek.
This time, I picked up Theodor and Jersey's Jersey and completed them before even talking to Gillian to open the Fallen Angel quest. After talking to Gillian, I talked to Farnham and Cain to get their dialogue AND talked to Gillian again to get her further dialog about the key and barrel before doing anything further on this quest. After killing Izual, I went back to Gillian immediately to turn in the quest (no vendors, no other npcs, no other quests turned in; just Gillian). And the quest completed successfully.
Thank you again for your responses!
About the blood gemS it's all at the same level, so maybe you can roam all corridors and rooms. The gems are keys to be used at the same level to unlock something. In case you can also check merchants if it was sold by mistake.
Here is the video about this quest (in fr) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LahRpTGjgo&list=PLbZAIso0jJl8fyfd-L6tSMiUofdOfLyOd&index=142
As for the fallen angel I note everything you say but I'll have to dig like real deep in the module and as it was a long time ago I don't really remember where things are. I can't assure a resolution soon as I think i'll need to really re-check everything around and I havn't much time for now. Though it will be top priority of fix. The quest can be done in a normal way but something happens that creates the bug sometimes and I still don't know what so far.

-yes, I am using UB
-it is the Fallen Angel quest, the journal entry is Back to Gillian
-I don't remember what order the quests were triggered in, but at the same time basically I was looking for Theodore, and also looking for Lester's stuff.
-I spoke to Farnham in triggering the quest, and I have also tried talking to Farnham since, in trying to close this quest.
I looked at other comments and it looks like someone else had this issue awhile ago but I didn't see a resolution to their question.
Also, in looking at comments I saw a question about blood gems, which I've found, and I know from the question that they are supposed to be used to trigger something in the same level. I never saw/found the thing to use them in but I have no recollection of where I found them now. Could you give me a hint about this? Thanks!
- Do you use UB mod ?
- What is the actual entry journal title where you're stuck please ?
- Did you trigger other quest after starting this one ? If so do you remember which one pls ?
- Did you spoke to Farnham ?
This is long time I didn't touch the module so I'm not remembering very well but I'm giving it a look. Thanks for your help answering all this :)
Sorry for that hope you'll have fun on the 4 players thoughs.
(Yet you can play with 6 but fight will be easier / so If you do I would recommand to avoid clerics in the party to make it a bit harder.)
I finally completed every quest, except for 'Halls of the Blind' which I can see in your list thread is in 'Catacombs 7' but I did everything on that place and checked again. It's all explored and dead and I only see "A Strange Poem" in the quest log.
Oh, I finished The Fallen Angel quest, with Izual dead, but the "Back to Gillian" final part cannot finish, since she only talks about the quest clue. Perhaps I removed an item she needs to see me hold? It's not a big deal, I was able to do the Izual fight.
To be honest, I blame myself for doing a lot of dungeon floors in one visit, without going back to Tristram to see people enough.
P.S. I also played your Hero Quest mod, in which I played a 'Goblin Slayer' team. That was fun and nostalgic!
Also, I found a fix for the Sunless Sea torch problem (light with spells won't trigger quest).
You can use Thunderwave to put the torches out again. (Any spell with Extinguish trait).
Now click them while holding a torch in hand. Quest can continue :)
I'll take a look at my setting in the UB menu and let you know whether I have something like that enabled. This module is also my first experience with solasta, so I had not known about the bug with spellcasting.
I don't feel that the fight is too difficult. It is challenging, but very rewarding, and it was satisfying to finish.
As for the two weapons, I believe it's OK if every weapon isn't great, but I'm not sure when or where to use them.
The maul in particular I believe has radiant damage on hit as well, which makes it even weaker in this module compared to something like the grizzly sword available from Griswold's apprentice from the start.
Very minor issues overall, I'm looking forward to trying some of your other adventures as well!
The 4 mages fight should be taken (if we follow the list of floors) around floor 7 of the cathedral. It's possible to make it sooner and up to the player as it's a side quest. I agree that this fight is somewhat different than HnS style (and maybe this is why blizzard removed it ? idk) I tend to like it though. About the ability to shoot across walls it's a solasta known bug. I can't do anything about that. But once again if you feel unbalance somewhere let me know more about it.
It's been a joy to play through, and I can't wait for the sequel!
There are two items I've found so far that are 1d6 (shadowhawk, a greatsword, and dreamflange a maul) is this intentional or are they supposed to be 2d6 as is the case with other items in the category?
Also, that 4 mage fight in the soulstone chamber is the hardest fight in the module by far, and it's mostly because the mages are able to cast spells through the walls, without having line of sight of the target, from the centre chamber. Is this intentional? Is the player intended to take them on at the earliest opportunity as well? (In my authentic, and my current cataclysm difficulty runs, this was around level 5)
I have something about Diablolasta 2 but it won't be the full adventure. I feel that the big land full of monster is not very good for Solasta as it's working. Still You'll have something soon about D2. (I'm not very available this summer but i'll make it public asap.)
Another patch will come to reach 1.1. This new patch will have a new "end game" area made for you all, who commented on the steam page and mod.io With a new threat to handle. Hope you'll enjoy. ++
i can´t load the game after the patch was installed?
