Massive mod, Human player can abuse RoR units so easily, especially since you get them instantly into your army just on 1 click. This mod is golden

Worst part about ROR is that every faction gets them, should be player or faction leader only like Franz,Thorgrim, Tyrion etc

Thank you a LOT man... I hate Regiments of Renown (at least the way they are recruted). Player can cheat a lot with it.

How bizarre, I did the same and deleted my workshop folders and the issue has also fixed.

It was Landship, Spears and some other unit. But now id did work like it should and all RoRs need 99Lv.
I did unsubscribed/subscribed again in between so maybe this fixed it and previous error come from older version on my disk.
So false alarm.

Elsebeth still have access to some RoR units. They are unlocked when I activate mod even if they are still not unlocked in unmodded game.

Thank you, but tbh this mod was very easy to make, considering all you have to do is changing a few stats in one file. Took me a couple of minutes. Currently I'm trying to update a mod that adds unit caps for all factions through recruitment buidlings. Can't play the game without it anymore. That task is much more complicated.

Just fyi for anyone interested, this mod is super easy to modify to your own tastes. Just grab Rusted Pack File Manager and open the mod - you'll see immediately how intuitive it is.

What I plan to do is just figure out whatever faction I'm playing and adjust the recruit levels for that faction, and then I'll probably set everyone else to be able to recruit around level 30 or 40.

I just want something to stop the AI from spamming RoRs early. Feels like every Chaos army in particular is just RoR spam. Makes it super boring when you're fighting the same army over and over again.

I am looking for a mod that disable AI controlled WoC factions to have exclusive RoR. Swords of Chaos, Mirror Guard and Summoners of rage should only be recruited by the original 3 WoC factions.

Thank you for creating this mod.

Would it also be possible to modify the recruitment of the RoR so that each RoR can only be recruited once?
If the unit is wiped out in battle or you disband it yourself, it would no longer be recruitable for the duration of the campaign.
The background to this is the absurd situation that I had to slay the legendary Chaos Giant about 15 times in a campaign, for example, or that you are faced with armies consisting almost exclusively of RoR.
After these have hopefully been defeated, you're back in front of you after three rounds...

I don't own the Norsca-dlc but I really like the skaven workshop and the ec troops mechanic so I didn't change the level cap there.

I was experimenting with my own Mod and was curious how this handles units from Monster Hunt, Ikit’s Workshop and even the Elector Count Troops?

Part of me wants to disable them all but also feels like you’re killing the faction mechanics

Great mod. I wish this was just a setting in the campaign settings by default. Rors fucking suck. I want to report one you missed. For Villich he has access to "The Chromatic Abominations (Blue Horrors of Tzeench)"

great mod, always frustrating to see super highly powercreeped units in enemy armies when I don't even think they add any fun to the game, its just a cheat unit
I'd much rather have some kind of event letting me recruit a standard elite unit rather than these powercreeped monstrosities

Ty for making it, i also agree that the mechanic is not well implemented in the campaing and it doesn´t feel very organic to see some lords destroy the early game recruiting empowered late game units.

I don't like the mechanic that you can recruit units instantly. And some factions have much more RoR than others which causes a little imbalance imo.
