@starlightwalker I think what you probably mean is that the old civilization is destroyed and replaced by the machine/singularity civ. You'll have to construct a new outpost on the pre ftl singularity planet

This mod removes the add_primitive_farm_or_mine scripted effect that gives a farm to normal species and a mine to lithoids. This mod could use it too.

Okay the fix to them being stuck at an age is to tag switch to them and run one of the age events found in steamapps\common\Stellaris\events\first_contact_dlc_situation_events.txt . For example, event preftl.399 will set them to the Iron Age and they will advance normally

I have the same problem Random Tank reported back in April: one of the Pre-FTL's is just sitting at the Atomic Age and not advancing past 0%, even when I do the tech espionage.

Just want to say as a newer player this mod is simply fantastic. A perfect example of the type of thing that should be in the base game. Super excited for your hyperconstructs mod when it is ready. Thank you for the amazing experience!

When a pre-ftl civ has a technological singularity are they supposed to just...not be interactable anymore? The event mentions a space age and they dismantle their observation post, but They don't ask to take over the system, they just sit there with a question mark instead of a flag. I can't initiate diplomacy, I can't survey them, nothing. This has happened in multiple games recently and I don't really get why the rationale if that's intentional.

events\mp_observation.50 is present in both mp_progress_events.txt and mp_observation_events.txt. Is this intended? Irony shows it as self-conflict in the mod and forces the user to pick one

I've got a couple of pre-ftls, one sitting in philosophy age and one in apocalyptic age, and neither of them the progress age bar is moving, it's just sitting at 0%... is that supposed to happen? Or are they waiting for some event?

it ok I found a fix for it there was a damaged ugc file in the main paradox folder in my documents once removed and the mod reinstalled it works again :-)

Hi having an issue with the mod and was wondering if anyone could help it says the mod is missing a descriptor file and the paradox launcher disables it automatically i have uninstalled and then reinstalled the mod but get the same problem? I have looked into the folder where the mod is stored and can clearly see a descriptor file so am i at a lost as to how to fix this issue.

Do any of these ages support branch offices? It's already very limiting that branch offices only apply to Atomic Age and Early Space Age.

I would use this one if not for the fact that having too many primitives will MURDER my PC with lag (which will already probably be at a breaking point in my packs)

I also confirm the same primitive age bug on several new saves, they generally reach one from this mod such as philosophical and then just stay stuck until the self-destruction event inevitably launch their death.

Will disable this mod which is one of my most favourite until a fix is made. I also use Planetary Diversity and Guilli's Planet modifier and nothing else incompatible as seen in my mod manager tool that reveal files conflicts when there are.

Thanks for the mod, Primitives are some of the best part in Stellaris for me. :)

Yes this is a new save. I've only seen the robotics age so far, but two primitives at the robotics age haven't progressed at all for 50+ years (still 0%)

@perl all new ages? And does this happen in an old save or a new savegame? Because the last update should have fixed the age progression, though old saves could still show this bug. There's a fix on the discord in #announcements

That AP is a third and final AP in a series of APs that should give your species some kind of mental ascension, you get amazing ascended traits on your leaders, more experience for them and that particular AP gives you a choice, you can choose 3 of 4 bonuses for your whole species, and bonuses are hefty

@Sinbad Moreplovac sorry to hear that. What exactly does the AP do? The crashes themselves are usually not related to the error.log unfortunately, the errors you see in the error.log usually shouldn't affect the gameplay

Hello, it seems that your mod is incompatible with an AP from Unique Ascension Perks, United Awareness. When I acquire that AP in an ongoing game, 70/80 years in the game a CTD happens, in error logs I get something about pre ftl scripted effects.txt. Already reported it on UAP page and mod author did some testing and found that his mod is not the one causing the CTD, you can find those comments on Unique Ascension Perks 3.14 DEV branch.

Ages are incoherently back to being stuck at 0% progression. I don't know what is the problem.
What are the issues with Planetary Diversity ? I also use it.

This really doesn't do anything since Primitives don't actually gain materials, but no primitives of the ages added by this mod have the jobs being worked

There are still a problem with Purifying Ages. They snap back to 0% progress. Other ages seems fine.
