There seems to be a bug, either with the mod itself or an incompatibility with another mod installed, where when loading a new run the game would slow down significantly and get a weird filter over the screen. This remained even if you exited and loaded back in.

would it be possible to put the enemy champions and boss champions in separate mods, or at least add a config toggle to be able to disable either one in case people want to fight the boss champions but not deal with the enemy ones

How possible would it be to get a MCM option to increase the rate of champions, boss champions in particular? In dozens of runs I've never seen more than one boss champion (cool blue Dingle!), and it was in a Chest miniboss room… I see golden and purple champions just fine

I use Fiend Folio, Reworked Foes and Repentance Boss champions with Champability, afaik they shouldn't conflict.

The holy poop champion boss spawns an invincible dip that cant be killed, essentially softlocking you

mod breaks when you kill a boss that tints the screen, it stay tinted that colour for the whole rest of the run

I believe this mod is incompatible with Cut Monsters. I ran into an enemy from cut monsters that I believe became a champion, though they became basically spriteless (not the invisible champion) and the game quickly crashed after. I did some testing and this happens when they are turned into an invalid champion type.

I didn't figure out how to spawn enemies in as champions from this mod at all, but this is the only mod that turns enemies into different champions, so I figure this is the reason for the issue.

Well, I just hate teal champions (I know I can turn them off). Sometimes other enemies just block you from shooting them and you're forced to take dmg to go through them just to deal with this champion.
I would suggest either:
1) Adding some kind of cooldown for this ability like pulsing gray.
2) Change invulnerability into 80-90% dmg reduction instead.
3) Make them appear only in Depth (or alts) and later.

But hey, mb he's ok, it's just opinion of single person.

Any way we could disable Teal Champions? I surely have skill issue but it makes things extra hard with Fiend Folio and room mods

Yeah, I had a feeling that wouldn't be possible - a shame, as I think that would also serve to shake up some standard rooms! Still, it's a great mod - well done.

Thanks for explaining the Baby Plum issue. I'm glad that was only temporary!

@Tzfyr Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, there's no way to change the fire rate of enemies, or at least not generally. Also, the Baby Plum thing was caused by the 1.7.9 update, not a mod, but was fixed in 1.7.9a :)

I've been using this mod for a while now, and it's great! The teal champion in particular is freakin' genius - I love the way it switches up the tactics you have to use for a room, and it should definitely be added to the base game.

The only note I have is that the yellow champion seems a little odd to me, because I associate yellow creep with a high fire rate. I don't know how possible it is to change the fire rate for enemies, but I think that would make this champion more interesting than firing out coin tears.

Also, I'm trying to track down a mod that's causing Baby Plum to get shot with a rocket and a big explosion every time I defeat her, but I've got about 80 installed - I don't suppose that's coming from this mod?

i would do that, but i think force champs can also turn on regular champions, so if i wanna play around with certain champions, i just sometimes cant

really like what u did with the new champions and i actually was wondering maybe since repentance adds custom sprites for all boss champions this mod could also do that for its champions versions? I could actually make all the sprites needed i think that would be a neat touch :)

@limbsonthefloor You can use the, "custom_champ (number)" command to spawn a gaper who is a champion of the specified id. You can also use the "force_champs" command to make all bosses spawn as their champion variants, if they have one.

@jamesB456 good to know! also sorry but the text colour just blends into the background too easily and needs a outline of some sort, also animated thumbnails tend to a lot better if you can do one of those?
