So Rimpy was the cause? Interesting.
If that fails, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Rimworld as well, just be warned that because Rimpy can be weird, this might force you to redownload all your mods too. You can do it through Rimpy, but you might have to do what I described above if it gives you outdated versions of some mods.
I'll update the mod now. Please test and let me know if it works!
This may sound silly, but you CAN disable the bamboo forest in Vanilla Expanded Framework - so just to be safe double check to see if your bamboo forests are ticked on or off.
