The aging rate of embryos(and children) in growth vat is determined by 'Growth Vat Occupant Speed', which can be adjusted from scenario editing.
Since 1.5 month have passed, you might have found the solution but I'd just leave this comment for people who might have the same issue.

Chronological is based on the seasons passing in normal game play. 4 seasons = 1 year nothing can change this.
Biological age is based on how old your character physically is.
The physical age can be changed based on aging multipliers like this mod and vanilla have, the ageless gene and the pawn being cryofrozen either before the pawn walks on screen or during your own game play.
The only way for both ages to stay the same is to keep the aging multiplier at 1x, stay away from the ageless gene and make sure they aren't ever in cryo.
I'm so excited to use this mod, I used to use Faster Aging but it's no longer being updated since Biotech, understandable. So hopefully this lets me go back to playing generational playthroughs again!! :D
