Nope, I didn't know anything about factorio when I made this but I did eventually play it with my friends and I found out about 'Bob' when searching for factorio mods.

Thanks for letting me know, just updated the mod to work in the newest version of the game. Since this was a pretty quick fix I didn't test everything individually so there could potentially be some issues in specific cases.

the mod does not work in the 0.21.28 version of the game. that kinda sucks since i was gonna do a "expert mode" playthrough. i hope you can update the mod. keep up the great work

Was a bit confused by what you mean since it has been a bit since I last worked on the mod but it makes a lot of sense going back into it and I appreciate the tip!

I've been looking through your code a bit (I'm trying to find some examples of GND stuff and mixins as the documentation for those items is non-existent) and then I stumbled upon the beauty which is your ModRegistry class.
You might want to change every string_id in that class to a public static final String and instead of instantiating the ModRegistry class into public static ModRegistry BobsMod.modRegistry .
Anyway, my goal of getting a better understanding has been achieved and I thank you for that.

Thanks for the feedback, daggers are meant to be difficult to use but rewarding with high damage output, but I also struggled with some of the later bosses in the game so I will try messing around with them a bit more. As for the greatbows I do plan on adding more I have just been pretty busy irl so I haven't gotten around to it quite yet.

so i just did my full play through and i have some things to say... i used the daggers for a majority of my time and i have to say there really good i just dont know if it can stand up to post pirate bosses all that much, they have just enough range to barely get a hit on almost any post pirate boss... the wands are perfectly fine and balanced but the great bows are kinda lacking in the amount of bows area, at least when i looked around there were only bows up to the demon bar area which kinda sucked if you wanna only use great bows... you can tell me if its intentianal or not...

other than that this mod is great and definetly one to recommend and i hope it just gets better and better

Thanks for letting me know, I fixed the arrow trap crash. When you get the somewhat random crash could you tell me what the error log says?

for some reason i get a crash when i set of a trap or sometimes for no reason at all...

Very cool. Currently testing everything. Enjoying this so far; I would love to see this grow.

Have you considered adding crossbows? They could do decent/passable damage per shot but have a high knock-back and come with enchanted bolts (e.g. slow enemies, burn enemies, etc.). Like a defensive range option with a bit of magic but more on the physical side.
