Also this might be an issue, might not (depending on how it looks after other changes are made) but in my eyes the crystal texture looks a bit too small and noisy. A scale somewhere between the current version and, say, Geo Teams might look cleaner.
That would fix all of my issues, no gradients, team recognition still intact because no red/blue and the darkness keeps the original weapons dark grey/black recognisable, and less conflicting textures.
really a simple fix. just turn the red and blue versions into 1 purple version
i wouldnt have gradients
conflicting textures, i wouldnt have green. green already isnt a colour used in tf2 or on any weapons, not sure what the point of the green version in this is
you can't just respond to any criticism with "how would you fix it"
Red and Blue versions that aren't team coloured.
Gradients... just no.
Some textures (like the green sticky) heavily conflict with the other textures and look very out of place.
And after looking at the demo this just became 10x worse.
the main grudge i have against this is the handle. donnu if you are going for a wooden texture or something else but its a tad oversaturated in my eyes.
the golden bar doesnt go well with the handle. im fine with it.
