Looks nice, but there's already a taunt effect from last year named Golden Gusts so you might wanna change the name of the Orange one

You could’ve just done the white one and it would’ve been fine.

Yeah, I mean the snow patches. I can def see how they'd be more polished if they moved along with the player, but the trail is a nice touch especially w/ the other snowflakes that are left behind, as if they're what's causing the snow to accumulate in the first place. Fix up the timings on the snow patches and it'd be perfect, I'm just a bit worried that people will only care about Frostbitten Whirlwind lol

Since this was a V2 of this effect I wanted to make it look as similar to the original effect as possible hence the saturated colors. By the fade-out of the particles on the floors, do you mean the snow patches that appear on the floor? I think I'll mess around with it because the original plan was to have everything just follow the player without a trail but then I realized it looked kind of nice with the trail, and just didn't think about it lasting too long, since they were designed with being in one spot & having some noise in front of them to hide the awkward fade out.

The tragic case of forced color variants because "valve likes them." The movement of the particles themselves is really cool, but the purple variant is awfully saturated (the orange variant is a bit better, but still).
The fadeout of the particles on the floor also needs to be tweaked, I think. They last for a bit too long when compared to the other particles left behind as you move, and the fadeout time is too short which makes the decay of every particle super noticeable. They also don't seem to be emitted frequently enough, making the whole snowfall effect you're going for seem patchy. Besides those complaints though it's a pretty nice effect
