I am currently working on a mod that combines multiple mods, and DEFAULT Country Names is being redesigned as part of that, but there are no plans at this time to add updates to this mod by itself.
That feature has been temporarily removed.
Now some features have been temporarily removed and there are SCN for Central Europe, Italy and African colonies.
Mod descriptions and pictures will be updated as appropriate after further updates later.
I am currently working on a version for 1.5, but it may take some time since I am working on it at the same time as Formable Nations.
I am currently working on an update to var1.4.
Once it is released, I will release a version for var1.5 beta as a separate mod.
As mentioned in previous comments, country names are automatically changed by the government.
The historical accuracy of the Prussian Kingdom was discussed in a previous comment, but I don't think there is any need to change it.
You can force the country name by specifying "Kingdom of TAG" in the decision, and this mod is designed to be used with other mods, so if you use a mod that adds the country name of Prussia, it should take precedence over the country name.
is not
Added new Decisions and integrated DCN Historical Names PLUS.
yes
DEFAULT Country Names 2 is currently under construction
Is that also the case when booting with just the DEFAULT Country Names?
change country tier to hegemony or empire
Use DCN Vanilla Names FIX .
Monarchy and Absolute Monarchy have Kingdom behind them.
In general, autocratic leaders tend to call themselves representatives of their ethnic group, and in such cases, they often use the ADJ name, which can also be used as the name of their ethnic group, for their country name.
Decentralized monarchies like the Feudal Monarchy and the Constitutional Monarchy have the Kingdom in front.
Currently, we do not intend to add languages other than Japanese and English, nor do we intend to change the code for dynamic_country_names.
This is because every time we update the code, translation omissions occur, and because each language has a different way of writing country names, and changing the code to suit a particular language will result in unnatural country names in other languages.
This is especially true for the Japanese localization prepared by Paradox, and it is very difficult to build codes and localizations with two or more various languages in mind.
However, as a plan for future mod creation, we are planning DEFAULT Country Names 2.
This will be a mod like DCN Historical Names PLUS, including an overwrite of the vanilla localization files, which will be a slight improvement.
Also, Two Sicilies has been fixed in DCN Historical Names PLUS, so there is no need to add it to DEFAULT Country Names.

Ok I sent you a request. We can discuss this in chat.
I think it would be better to create this as a separate mod from DEFAULT Country Names to save time and effort.
I don't plan to add language data for a while, so I don't see any problem.
If you do make an update to add language data, I will post the location of the addition in this comment.
