Just an idea for a mod.
I was thinking it would be cool if army that is laying the siege is paying lower upkeep. because they are kind of raiding. it would also make it more viable to have a longer siege.
Thanks :)

These "invisible towers" are just the simulation of those defenses for Auto Resolve purposes only. Even though I was using a mod that removed defensive supply entirely, it did not remove these invisible towers that grant a bonus in AR, so they don't conflict.
Picked up this mod and the minor settlement one just now, haven't tried it yet.
Does the removal of these invisible towers interfere with the AI building new ones, and does this conflict with the "No Real Time Building" mod? I don't like the constant arcade-y rebuilding of towers and fortifications and would prefer that the AI be bound by the amount of defensive supplies the latter mod gives them, just like me. No idea if that's already the case, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Where as without the mod a city like that would be a pyrrhic victory at best, completely unacceptable losses.
Remains to see how the AI does against my cities.
Honestly multiplying losses feels really cheap, so glad it's gone.
Gotta try it out now
