The mod itself is great, but small thing- does it really need to announce that it's initializing every time? It's a content mod like anything else. Imagine if CUP, RHS or anything else announced itself every time you boot up a mission even though you may or may not actually be using the content from them.

If a mod isn't majorly altering a core game mechanic, it hardly warrants a debug message. It'd be nice to have an option to turn it off.

Why is everything binarized? Was hoping to trim off the fat/learn how UAS is done and make my own version for the unit. We only want a couple calibers instead of a deluge of samey stuff.

800 rounds was required to be carried by each MACV-SOG armed with a Car-15, but, yes, not in one mag. And machine gunners tend to have a dude to hump the extra ammo & tripod around.
Yeah, it's 1am in Ohio, too. I just spent the last few hours trying to track down a GGE weapon swap issue... turned out it was the friggen 'no weapon' surrender ACE setting. So much for having some fun.

to clarify, people do carry a lot of ammunition typically for MG's though.
500 rounds is around average IRL. NOt all in 1 mag though.

I see what you mean now. A lot of subs and slaps are the wrong values or have no ACE values, and many of the BCs don't vary. Nice first start improving the rifle portion of UAS, though. I'm not sure I'd recommend messing with the humongous ammo sizes. At least their weights are more, but kind of impractical and ridiculous to carry around 500 rounds attached to a gun.

So the rest of the ammo in UAS is all ACE compatible, including the stuff that wasn't under the original author?! That's amazing. Great job. I will check this out again, then. Is there a 'lite' version of this fully ACE compatible version so it doesn't take so long to load in Arsenal as the original?
Correction: this appears to be only a portion of it. That's good, then, because the other was a huge, bloated mess of ammo that took forever to load.

@Reticuli Theyre correct, just per ammunition its wrong. Basically what im saying with that is your good old standard General Purpose rounds are the same ballistics as say a HAPI round. Theyre not incorrect in the sense that you cant use the ATRAG you just wont have different profiles per ammo swap.

@Frosted Flake it's tedious trying to get all the correct values BUT that isnt whats making this project go so slow. Its solely the fact that i am just me working on all my mods. I dont want any of them to fall under and be unnoticed. So i keep all of them up to date. Hopefully though ill be on the way for a UASR update ive had people waiting for a while.

Sorry about the delay @ZacharyPW, I know what you mean since a good deal of the ammo seems to have been paper projects, one off prototypes, commercial offerings without proper testing etc. Some only have references on nicher-than-niche ammo collector websites. I guess you could just make reasonable guesses about the less exotic ammo, based on similar rounds of the same calibre, and possibly scale baselines up or down for the niche calibre. It must be a nightmare to research, particularly the shotgun ammo stands out in my mind, so good on you both for the attempt. If there's a way for me to help, I still have my books on weapon engineering, ballistics from artillery school, I suppose I could try to make best-guess tables at some projectiles. I just have no idea how to edit arma configs.

Speaking of math: I hope you won't be doing it without a massively heavy use of a spreadsheet: ref a cell and perform math on its value in another cell, a mandatory thing for shop keepers when you need to account for the price of the components in the result's price.

The hardest part of making UASR a reality with ACE integration is the research required and the math with no references or pictures to go off of for most of the loadings that were inside UAS. I assume he is using partials of my ammo config inside my UAS ACE Compat mod that took me hours to research and use math formulas to get as accurate as possible data for ACE advanced ballistics. I do not mind that he does so long as he mentions that he used some of it from my mod.

He also might be writing it from scratch, which I would pity him XD. It takes forever and the grind is real.

I admit I have no idea on how to create mods, but would making each extra pbo as a mod and using them as dependencies fix the issue? I remember having a similar issue with a much older mod and they managed to fix it with this rather inelegant method....Not to push but I just really like this mod and would like my server to see it xD

Hmm it must be something wrong with the extra pbos. I tried signing it for a private test and no matter what I tried it would not be recognized by the server, but DSUtils verified the signatures fine...never seen that before lol

@[III%]PsychosocialPenguin i have people actively testing this and they say its fine, i also use it avidly in my main unit so i do believe its in a workable state regarding multiplayer. About the keys, i don't even know man lol I've resigned them several times and my server doesn't see any keys regardless if its my mod or not.

Well after trying this mod, your ragdoll enhancement mod, turret lollipopping mod, Bloodlust +, and Blastcore compilation I found none of the keys were recognized by my server. Not sure if its a problem with my server or what, but the 40 other mods work fine...
