The map uses env_sun and light_environment. I'm aware of the skybox fuckyness though, I plan to fix it in the next update. Thanks!

I love the map, there's a couple of places where the skybox gets fucky, and this doesn't use env_sun and light_environment. I'd love to have weather and time passage!

There's an extended properties addon that lets you open the doors.

I've not experienced this myself or heard anyone else have this issue. You may have conflicting addons.

Sometimes, when I open doors, I can see through the map, its kind of annoying and immersion breaking.

I haven't noticed anything myself but I'll have a look when I publish the next update.

What about the combine wall though? Sorry if im saying this over and over its a really good map but i can't play other maps when the combine wall is tiny. I think this was an issue in the map you based this off of too

Not through in-game means, no. It's a texture.

The trains can only be enabled through console commands, and there is snow because it's winter!

Really good map!! Although, I'd wish you had more pre-war japanese writing/signage in and around the map, maybe some old street signs as well as billboards from something like metro dawn with faded japanese billboards etc.

Also, one of the combine smart barriers breaks when this addon is installed, specifically it becomes ridicuously small and it breaks on every map its in, its because at some point you or one of the devs of the older maps put in a smart barrier that is smaller and it overrides the original because it has the same name. If you could fix this by renaming or removing or (if it being small was in error) resize it that would be perfect! Thank you!

i hope in the next updates, if they will be.The citadel would be accesble.and that would be fun to add control room like that would can spawn npc's or like enable siren, like in some maps.Well lets hope the map will become better and better, Goodluck to creator of the map.

By horizon view, I assume you mean the skybox area with the well on the street connecting to the spawn subway. This map is intended for roleplay, and I would argue that sacrificing that area for a brand-new street with alleyways to roleplay in makes it worth it.

As for the propaganda posters - as mentioned earlier, this map is intended for roleplay. Primarily Half-Life 2 Roleplay. In Half-Life 2 lore, citizens are regularly relocated from city to city. For this reason, it is only natural that Japan would no longer be primarily inhabited by Japanese, let alone Asian people. Thus, many of the posters (a vast majority of which were from the original map itself, mind you) now feature primarily English writing. Despite this, however, this edit brings several new non-propaganda posters that are in Japanese, which are scattered around the map as a sort of 'pre-war relic'.

"Definitive version"? I like the original more than this for a few reasons.
- You removed that beautiful horizon view at the start... what the fuck? that was one of my favourite parts
- There is only English text on the new propanda posters... in a map that's supposed to be set in Japan. A place where people obviously primarily speak Japanese. Really makes me immersed.

And now city 8 (the roblox game or whatever) has fallen to developers who's only goal is greed, which sucks, they just need to land on a good permanent owner instead of shifting hands every couple of years.
