Yep, I use it for the copy pasta nonsense
_Sun_Man_ 1 Jun @ 3:03pm
I didn't know you have the ability to delete their comments
Foxomexra  [author] 1 Jun @ 2:54pm
I can click a magical button to delete update spammers, but I don't get update spammers anyways.
_Sun_Man_ 1 Jun @ 2:53pm
Yeah, I do check when the mod was last updated. I mainly suggested it because I've seen a lot of people spam "update" comments on mods that are very clearly dead/discontinued/deprecated and just don't bother reading or checking the description
Foxomexra  [author] 1 Jun @ 2:41pm
You're not my dad >:)

Also just check the last Update date when downloading mods.
_Sun_Man_ 1 Jun @ 5:37am
Suggestion: add "discontinued" to the title so people can easily know that you won't update it
Foxomexra  [author] 6 Mar @ 9:55pm
I don't play Vic3 anymore so the mod won't be updated, sorry.
TenjenT 6 Mar @ 8:13pm

Foxomexra  [author] 28 Oct, 2024 @ 5:57am
That is fine with me, as long as there is credit. Thank you for asking!
Kop180 28 Oct, 2024 @ 5:49am
Can I use your mod as a province basemap for my mod where I add more states? I will credit you.
Foxomexra  [author] 26 Nov, 2023 @ 12:02pm
The mod is out of date, I'm working on a version as a submod for VFM

As it stands right now, the process of making peace in Vic 3 is not fantastic, so big exchanges of territory are best done through an event like I have it set up right now. While other mods have fully scripted Mex-Amr Wars, I just have the onset of the war scripted. For this reason I have the USA initiate the war by seizing the disputed territories (so I don't need a more complex peace event system, and minimizing times where the USA will leave enclaves of Mexico behind - this mod adds a few more small states so this helps cleanup).
As for the end of the Texan revolution, I created that system before Paradox incorporated the ability to claim decentralized states for colonization, because otherwise Mex or USA would colonize into Comanche settlements within the state of Texas.
Foxomexra  [author] 26 Apr, 2023 @ 12:55pm
When it comes to the disputed territories I had intended (had past tense, since I will no longer be updating the mod in favour of playing mods like the Victorian Flavour Mod) to develop some expeditions Mex and USA could do to "peacefully" fight for control.
BOT Dale 26 Apr, 2023 @ 10:57am
I appreciate the attention to detail, but it should be noted that the disputed territories were only granted to texas following the Mexican-American war, not the end of the Texas revolution. Also, when Texas won the revolution, it recieved only the territories it has at the start of the game.

Mr. Jotaro 11 Feb, 2023 @ 5:59pm
could you add more states to south america? just inmersion porpuses
While you are at it, take a look at the Danish East Indies. They owned a tradeport in southern India as well as a the Nicobar islands at game start date.
Great!
Foxomexra  [author] 8 Feb, 2023 @ 6:12pm
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I will include it in the next update.
How about the Swedish West Indies?

@Crownsteler Go for it!

@Foxomexra
I am working on a little map mod which may, or may not, be released someday. I was hoping I could include some of your map changes in it. Especially the fixed coast lines which look just amazing.
I would give you full credits of course :)
Foxomexra  [author] 24 Jan, 2023 @ 1:07pm
@tyrone Certainly! Though, I would appreciate credit given for what aspects you decide to utilize.
tyrone 24 Jan, 2023 @ 11:20am
Hey man can I get your permission to add some parts of your mod to The Great Rework mod? Your changes are great!

As someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver Island and no Puget Sound were driving me crazy, thank you!
Foxomexra  [author] 20 Jan, 2023 @ 10:02am
@Staszekr03 Unfortunately such a thing is not possible with the existing game code. The only way it could be simulated at all is through pre-scripted events. It's not possible to do so for every possible war that may arise though.
Staszekr03 20 Jan, 2023 @ 9:29am
This game would be seriously improved if players where able to chose which provinces they want to take from a state and split it instead of only taking whole states, same with colonisation.
Awsfla 1 Jan, 2023 @ 3:13pm
i see, thank you!
Foxomexra  [author] 1 Jan, 2023 @ 11:53am
@gdrummond3 yes, that is fine. It will not have any negative impact on your game.

It's just a consequence of how I set up the province map for certain German minors. Since the countries are so tiny, some of their split territories are actually clumped into one single province. This helps to make the minors actually functional rather than constantly facing issues with no market access. A tiny country that looks to be made up of three split tiny territories may actually only be made up of one province I spread apart. End result though is some states have visual enclaves (but are not actually isolated).
Awsfla 1 Jan, 2023 @ 3:39am
Is it normal for some german states to be split, such as hanover, westphalia, anhalt, brunswick, and saxony?
Foxomexra  [author] 29 Dec, 2022 @ 1:29pm
I will take a look into this, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
macu67 29 Dec, 2022 @ 11:30am
Thanks for answer. I think I've found a bug. The uncolonised part of eastern micronesia is "impassible" and cannot be colonised, I don't think it's intended.
Foxomexra  [author] 27 Dec, 2022 @ 5:05am
@macu67 Thank you for your interest! As it stands I intend to add both the Ryukyu Kingdom and also Ezochi on Hokkaido. I plan to also add Formosa as a vassal of Qing, to work into a few events I have planned between Japan and China.

As for Ogasawara Islands, I intend to keep them as they are, simply because the game has no way of effectively representing the reality of Pacific colonization. If left uncolonized, the UK will inevitably colonize and never give them up. Alternatively if I give Japan a starting colonial affairs institution then there will be other inconvenient side-effects.
macu67 27 Dec, 2022 @ 4:57am
Hi, some thoughts about Japan:
- only 2 first islands of Kurils (Kunashiri and Iturup) should be owned by Japan in 1836
- Ogasawara Islands should be uncolonised in 1836
- Ryukyu Kingdom should exist in game as a Japanese tributary at start (annexed in 1879)

Great mod btw :)

Waiting for Paradox to post a hotfix for the new release before updating.

Please make Sydney the capital of New South Wales, make Victoria a possible tag, and seperate Canberra into a smaller tiny state called Australian Capital Territory
Foxomexra  [author] 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:12pm
Seminole modifier gradually ticks away. As it stands in the game currently there isn't really a way to model guerrilla conflicts. Until a better system is created or I can think of a better alternative, I'll be rolling with the existing modifier. With it, you can throw the entire US Army at the Seminole and force their defeat (usually within a year) at high losses - alternatively you can take a more historical approach and assign a general with a moderate amount of troops to keep them at bay until you develop better tech or the modifier weakens (usually will be easy to take them over by 1838 or 1839).
124_alx 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:03pm
They also apparently have negative losses in my game, meaning somehow they are gaining men from battle.
124_alx 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:01pm
Why do the Seminole have the highest defense in the world? (63.75)
Foxomexra  [author] 16 Nov, 2022 @ 5:13am
@Ms. Bawwy to keep things simple, the Maine border is corrected through the Oregon Treaty event. If you use Norton's Flavor Mod (linked in description, I highly recommend it), there is a dedicated decision you can take.
bawwyWRLD 15 Nov, 2022 @ 3:36pm
Is there an Event that corrects the border between USA and Canada in Maine?
