As for the end of the Texan revolution, I created that system before Paradox incorporated the ability to claim decentralized states for colonization, because otherwise Mex or USA would colonize into Comanche settlements within the state of Texas.
I am working on a little map mod which may, or may not, be released someday. I was hoping I could include some of your map changes in it. Especially the fixed coast lines which look just amazing.
I would give you full credits of course :)
It's just a consequence of how I set up the province map for certain German minors. Since the countries are so tiny, some of their split territories are actually clumped into one single province. This helps to make the minors actually functional rather than constantly facing issues with no market access. A tiny country that looks to be made up of three split tiny territories may actually only be made up of one province I spread apart. End result though is some states have visual enclaves (but are not actually isolated).
As for Ogasawara Islands, I intend to keep them as they are, simply because the game has no way of effectively representing the reality of Pacific colonization. If left uncolonized, the UK will inevitably colonize and never give them up. Alternatively if I give Japan a starting colonial affairs institution then there will be other inconvenient side-effects.
- only 2 first islands of Kurils (Kunashiri and Iturup) should be owned by Japan in 1836
- Ogasawara Islands should be uncolonised in 1836
- Ryukyu Kingdom should exist in game as a Japanese tributary at start (annexed in 1879)
Great mod btw :)
Oregon Border Dispute event appears bugged for me
