@sly91: I'm not sure it's related to the character itself but rather the data becomes invalid somehow and some codepaths suppose some data are present instead of checking they exist, hence the errors. I think that's not really fixable at its core, except occulting the errors (though this will lead to some items not working for the run anymore so it's not really a great fix).
The epiphany fix has been resolved recently.
@傻劈一号: actually that's not true, you may play the matching inputs on your keyboard, dance pad or whatever you're using to play as well :), only the clues are hinting at a particular controller but all controller types work.

@Cadek1d: do you have multiple mods enabled? do you have any errors in the console? I haven't heard of such an issue before. You may want to disable other mods until finding the incompatible one

@sly91: I guess the problem isn't limited to Cracked Urn of Souls but most of Beyond's items that grant pickups and stuff on pickup, I need to investigate, thanks

Quick update on isaacguru: still underway, about 60% done I'd say.

And I notice that there's also a generic error with Beyond when there's the new version of Eclipsed mod active (the eco version I think).

On your other question:
You want to use as many cards as possible in order to spawn a lot of researched trinkets and gulp them (50% chance for them to be yummy), those are your main sources of power. Also, items generated by cards do NOT break per their mechanics. That's a feature you need to be aware of and use!
I don't understand how The Researcher Tainted works, how do you get stronger? Can someone explain?
At the moment I'm making objects appear and when I use them, most of the time nothing happens.
Would it be possible to have your trinket as a liability, so that you can take at least one other trinket with you?
And now for the sad news: development will largely slow down for now because I have lost interest in modding and have a lot to do at home and work in the upcoming weeks/months.
