I've been using it for a Playthrough and it is working fine so far. My recommendation would be to just update the about file to add the 1.6 version, and update the steam version. Besides that all I did was update the about file and it works correctly.

Thank you again for a wonderful mod.

I dunno if it's compatible, i haven't had the chance to play yet but expect things to break if you try

When i play again, you can be sure that the mod will be ported over but i don't know when i will play again...
zazizi74 21 Jul @ 4:28am
1.6?
NylonWorms 20 Jul @ 8:11pm
Hello Thank you for the mod. By chance do you know if it is compatible with Version 1.6 of rimworld that is released?

Nop

Thank you for your hard work. Does this mod also adjust the recovery time for the scarless gene?
Havayu 24 Jun, 2024 @ 1:48am
Thank you for your work! :mailedfist:
SAUCE__GODD 23 Jun, 2024 @ 9:05pm
hell yeah
Sofistico  [author] 23 Jun, 2024 @ 4:04pm
I finished the sanguophage patch, will be happy for any bug report!
So far you will need to hunt down the gene, if you want to add it to your xenotype!
Havayu 23 Jun, 2024 @ 4:46am
I'll be waiting for sanguophage patch

This does work with 1.5 and it did not seem to cause any errors even with my heavily modded game.
Sofistico  [author] 23 Apr, 2024 @ 1:21pm
I haven't tested yet...
If you test it, could you report if it worked?
Bad Player 22 Apr, 2024 @ 3:25am
Does this mod work on 1.5? Because some mods even though it says 1.4 works completely fine on 1.5.
dysaster 20 Apr, 2024 @ 10:44am
1.5 pretty please :(
Ashina 12 Apr, 2024 @ 5:35am
Thank you! I found your mod a few months ago, and I'm using it so well. Thank you always
Sofistico  [author] 10 Apr, 2024 @ 6:02am
Yes of course Ashina!
In regards to the comments about features requests and other stuff, it will take some time for me to implement, i haven't had much time lately for hobby development, work is consuming my life but I haven't forgot this mod yet!
Ashina 9 Apr, 2024 @ 3:26pm
can you make 1.5 version?
Atmey 3 Apr, 2024 @ 9:55am
Great mod.

Can you make it configurable? It seems a bit too fast for me. Thanks.

We are expecting future work.
crungly 19 Oct, 2023 @ 1:55pm
are you still planning to add a gene that will regenerate for a hemogen cost? i really like the idea.
Norman 8 Aug, 2023 @ 8:49pm
This mod is what I've always wanted
Kepler68 1 Aug, 2023 @ 8:01pm
Having a good time with this mod, as it makes the random fistfights that lose a finger far less annoying lol! Is there any way to change the speed of regeneration though? As it stands a limb regrows extremely quickly compared to normal injuries, sometimes making it more efficient to amputate all of a pawns limbs to let them regrow rather than the injuries recovering normally. I'd like to slow mine down to taking in the region of 4-8 days per regeneration cycle
JohanTron2000 11 Jun, 2023 @ 7:54am
can you make a mod that makes it so deathless gene makes so they wont die even with their brain gone?
Risk 10 May, 2023 @ 2:31pm
nvm got it fixed. There is a file that gets created after you upload a mod to the workshop. Since I esssntly copied your mod and modified some of the code that file was still there. So when I tried to update it it registered as already updated, but couldint modify it since I wosent the one who uploaded it. Should have the mod up sometime tonight
Risk 10 May, 2023 @ 2:21pm
its not git its steam giving me the issue. It wont give me the option to upload the mod for some reason
Sofistico  [author] 10 May, 2023 @ 1:58pm
Good luck! if you need any help, there are lots of great youtube videos on how to use git!
Risk 10 May, 2023 @ 8:15am
sounds good thx ! I am just trying firgure out how to upload it (it wont let me for some reason) got the mod working without any bugs
Sofistico  [author] 10 May, 2023 @ 5:35am
Go ahead!

If you want, you could just put a PR in the gitbub repository, it's a highly requested feature this one, i could then credit YOU on this mod!
Risk 9 May, 2023 @ 7:52pm
Hey man thinking of putting a version of this that dosent require achite. I think I have it firgured out , tho gonna be copying like 95% code (I cnt code to save my life) anyhow all take it down once u have time to update it and cite you for credit, also feel free to use my code to add the gene (this is all assuming I get it working lol) just wanted to check make sure it was ok with you first
Sofistico  [author] 4 May, 2023 @ 6:14am
Only if the brain isn't destroyed, since the pawn will just die without a brain.
I don't remember exactly, but it should heal scars every x days, if it doesn't then probably it's a bug!
CaptainXfloW 3 May, 2023 @ 7:13am
Hey! Just curious... Does this also regenerate the brain?
ImNotCreativeEnough 15 Apr, 2023 @ 3:19pm
This is perfect, thank you!
Rocketsocks88 7 Apr, 2023 @ 2:50am
Nice! i also dont want to be immortal, just troll like. does it heal scars? if not anyone know a gene that does?
CTH2004 29 Mar, 2023 @ 12:49pm
fair enough (:

and, thanks for making it!
Sofistico  [author] 29 Mar, 2023 @ 12:29pm
It is! I just need to have some free time for it....
Thanks for using it!
CTH2004 29 Mar, 2023 @ 10:42am
I like this mod, I'm just curious, isit still being worked on?

Thanks!
SAUCE__GODD 9 Dec, 2022 @ 8:18am
I have some ideas:
-For the hemogen variant, could the regeneration process be slightly faster and less painful than the normal gene at a massive hemogen cost to trigger it
-Alternatively, could the regeneration be linked to the amount of hemogen the pawn has? Like the regen process speeds up hemogen consumption and stops entirely once they're out (perhaps you could somehow tie it to the hemogen craving hediff?)
-Could you make organs regenerate faster than say, an entire leg?
-Could we get some compatibility with the Death Rattle mod? Maybe disabling brain damage if this gene is present?
-Could we get a gene that gives the brain more hitpoints?
-Could you give this mod an image? It's always nice for a mod to have a face, it makes people less likely to overlook it
-Can you change the title? Maybe something like "regenerator gene" or "regeneration gene" or "limb regrowth gene"? "Gene regenerator" isn't as descriptive as it could be and may even be a bit misleading.
Sofistico  [author] 2 Dec, 2022 @ 3:10am
In theory the organs should regenerate as well
SAUCE__GODD 1 Dec, 2022 @ 7:47pm
What about organs?
zazizi74 24 Nov, 2022 @ 9:08am
good
B4TD4DDY 18 Nov, 2022 @ 2:25am
I've been looking for this instead of just making my Sang an Immortal/Celestial. You are much appreciated.
Sofistico  [author] 17 Nov, 2022 @ 5:22pm
I will have some time by the weekend i believe,@AverageBandit idea was a great one, could probably adapt a normal gene that increases hunger, i imagine it should be simple... But you never know in development!
Gryphonheart 16 Nov, 2022 @ 10:50pm
I am also hoping for a normal gene for this. I'm planning a troll like playthrough, D&D style, and since trolls regenerate, it would 100% fit to have this for them. I don't know how to balance it either, but i'm looking forward to see what you choose. Thks for doing this btw.
AverageBandit 15 Nov, 2022 @ 6:25am
@Sofistico Nice! The mod works fantastically! Im really impressed with the features.

Maybe the 'normal' gene could be balanced by increasing the hunger of a pawn alot while regenerating limbs? Anyway, cool mod!
Sofistico  [author] 11 Nov, 2022 @ 9:14pm
New update is out!
Now the gene regenarates from daily to hourly and the pain level is lesser, so that the pawn won't get downed if it needs to regenate vast quantities of body parts

In regards to a more "normal" gene, i will need to see how i can balance it out.... Maybe it will be more painful or what not, still need to think about it.
WarlordKandyman 1 Nov, 2022 @ 5:26pm
Super awesome mod and i just saw about the update and i was thinking how cool that would be and now you made it work so it gradually regrows ! Making monstrous limb regrowing colonists sure is fun ! One thing i noticed is thats its an archotech upgrade only ? would be cool to see a "normal" gene too, I dunno. Great work !
Sofistico  [author] 1 Nov, 2022 @ 4:42pm
A new update!
Now the regeneration will be a more gradual change, first the bones (i don't know how to make a distinct process for something like a lung which doesn't have a lung) then the muscles, then the nerves and lastly the skin.... It follows pretty closesly as made by Vanilla Enchanted Ancients.
The bug of @AverageBandit should be fixed as well!
As always, any weird stuff or bug feel free to report it!
Sofistico  [author] 1 Nov, 2022 @ 9:45am
Sadly it is a less refined approach, where the limb in x hours will be fully grow, but i quite liked the idea of this gradual regeneration....
Let's see what i can do.
AverageBandit 1 Nov, 2022 @ 7:55am
Cool, and also is this just like the regeneration power from VE Ancients? Like, does it start with first regrowing bone-->nerves-->muscle-->skin? that was pretty cool
