hey, so I've found that a lot of the new resolutions are missing the NOT = { has_country_flag = constitutional_immunity } line from the breach part of the resolution files. This means that the constitutional immunity from the Politics tradition tree doesn't work properly in the mod. I'm telling you that here since there's no "bugs" topic in the discussions tab

The mod is amazing ! I've discovered it a month ago, and added it to Entropy V that starts tomorrow with lots of streamers.

Originally this mod was meant to make the Galactic Community the center of the game. Each game had to take place keeping an eye on the "political" side of the choices. But between university and my recent joining the DH team (hoi4 mod) I have less and less time to work at NGS. If there is someone who is interested in developing this concept, I'm available to create a discord server where to best develop the mod.

I will be subscribing to this mod later after update. If you need support I can help you out modding it and such and so for. This is a great combination because both mods are amazing but also decreasing the times and this potentially have the ability to do a real Galactic Community unified experience and that actually works (many mods have a lot of incompatibilities)

Thanks, I don't have a patreon because I think my mods don't deserve that. This project is the first real mod I publish and my knowledge about debugging and coding is still quite basic. Also, I'm in exam session from December until February. Thanks again for the nice comment, as soon as I have some free time to dedicate myself to stellaris I will try to understand what causes CTDs

I recognize this stuff is labour intensive, so if you have a patreon or something I'd be happy to send over like a $20 to resolve the CTD issue. Looks like Galactic Community ++ is having similar problems. If you aren't confident in your ability to resolve it during the next patch though that's totally understandable and I hope your exams went well in December.

Just in case, update does not fix/change localisation. At least for russian, you forgot to cahnge l_english to l_russian inside the file itself

I fixed the localisation files for other languages and for "wargoals"

Thanks for the feedback. As soon as I have some free time (I'm currently in university session) I'll do some tests and fix the bugs. It will probably be at least a week before I can dedicate myself to fixing everything, I hope you can understand.

Uh oh... Some localisation stuff. Even stuff that was in English in original GCE is now shown as code (resolution_category_diplomacy)

Can you just put a small update so it would show up as original english text when having other language? As I know it is rather easy

this mod has some wargoals that show up in-game but doesn't have localisation, i've traced it to this from visual studio

Hmm, I started a new save and still got a CTD, though the first resolution did pass. Maybe its once the AI tries to propose a specific resolution?

I can assume this is because you are not using a new save file, I can post a link for the older version of NGS if you wish.
The only test you could do to verify that is:
launch a new game;
open the console;
write "communications";
wait 2 years of game;
pass a resolution in the galactic community.
If it keeps crashing it could probably be the mod's fault, if not it's because this update is not "save compatible". Maybe because I changed the position of two resolutions, and this creates problems for Stellaris.

I'm using a lot of mods, including expanded espionage and the patch, extended espionage being above on the modlist and the patch being below both . Also, the only mods that look to mention the 00_resolution_categories file seem to be yours, and the mod list worked prior to the update. I can post a full modlist if you like, it's just that it's about 90ish mods.

I am getting CTDs as well consistently across games shortly after galactic community is founded, about halfway through first resolution.

Yes, it's intentional. The purpose of this resolution is to delay the expansion of all empires.
Why does the AI ​​like this resolution (depends from game to game)?
Because the AI ​​tends to prefer this resolution when it is close to particularly expansionist empires to curb their expansion. Empires that have "civic_(hive/machine_)memorialist" will definitely vote for it, while (for example) xenophobic empires will vote against.
I'm working on adding the ability for the AI ​​to be against this resolution when it's near empires that don't participate in the galactic community. The AI ​​should vote against if other empires won't play by the same rules, so that those other empires don't just gobble up all the territory next to them.

What is the purpose of the cartography grants resolution supposed to be? +50% boarder friction and -90% survey speed are both debuffs. Is this intentional? The AI seems to love voting for this.

Thanks for the quick response. Neither of the other mods seems likely either. It's just weird. I'm not ready to quit my current game (I always play Iron Man) so I'll probably try process of elimination at some point after that.

I honestly don't think this mod changes the way mandates work. This mod changes only resolutions files in the common directory. I've played with 15-20 mods (including NGS) over the past few weeks and haven't had your problem (i played with Human race and not Toxoid)

I'm not sure where the problem is, so it might not be this mod. But so far, this one seems the most likely to me.

I'm running 3 mods -- this one, Legendary Worlds, and More Primitives. Everything seemed fine for a while. I was playing a democracy with a Toxoid race. I had and successfully fulfilled about 5 mandates in a row. Then I had an election, and there was no new mandate. And then I had another election, and again, there was no new mandate. As I said, I don't know for sure where the error is (I'm not even sure if this was an error or a feature that I missed or misunderstood).

If anyone has any insight on this issue, please let me know.

You're welcome, I think that answering in the comments with my doubts about some bugs (and my views on why they happen) is the best thing for me and for the whole community.
I am currently playing Stellaris with this mod (NGS), Expanded Espionage and Galactic Imperium Expanded to find any kind of bugs due to these three mods working together. There are other bugs as well but they probably depend on the interaction between GIU and EED that I can only fix with the patch (which doesn't work at the moment and I don't know why).
As for the "GC Hover Icon Crash", it's not a bug that "breaks" the game (it's avoidable once you understand how it works), so I prefer not to fix it now and look for more bugs and post a full fix afterwards.
I will include this known error in the description of the Patch NGS - EED, thanks for your suggestion.

Very interesting, thanks for the insight, I'll just be careful not to touch the galactic community button when it occurs and veto if possible until you have a fix. You may want to include this known error in the description or on a bug report thread in the mod. That being said your quick response is impressive and much appreciated. Thanks for your work!
