This mod no longer works, and will instead crash to desktop, as of the "Clouds and Storms" v0.27.0 update. It does seem to work in versions prior to this.

is there a way to make it a random amount for example between 1-4 defences? also maybe a good mod idea is different station sizes.

Is there maybe a different solution to the defenses getting dragged to the other side of the system? Eg instead of just doubling the defenses you could also try and increase the spacing between the defenses so that they are more further out and allow for more room for the AI to maneuver within?

In the end you usually destroy pretty much anything that exists sooner or later anyway, so i guess it's not a big issue.

I myself haven't found any major problems so far, it may be that there are conflicts with some mods that change the same things.

I can't do anything myself against the stupid vanilla dealer Schiffs AI, the devs have to do something about it ^^'

Are there any potential drawbacks with this mod?

I played a vanilla test run for about a month and noticed that sometimes station defenses somehow disappear, like i did notice that one actively moved away from the station to settle down somewhere about half the diameter of the asteroid belt away, and even when i tried to actively push it back to it's station it went back again.

I've also seen a couple ships trading with the station get stuck on the defense platforms before and am wondering if these problems will increase with twice as many platforms?

Also how does this affect station rescue missions? Are they still doable with keeping the station above 80% hp, or will it always end up as a wreck?

Mh are there still so many at the station? had hardly any problems so far, but I know that a mod stole some of my code and when it is on everything is increased twice and there are problems (hope that you can optionally encrypt your mods soon), but I can check again if I because something can do.

And what will it change? The quality of these platforms? What's the point of platforms if they're just as easy to destroy. More platforms only stretches the already tedious gameplay, since it is the same in each sector. Thanks for the mod.

i like the mod, makes a station feel more important. but makes rescue stations a nightmare, half dozen ships and half a dozen defence batteries surrounding it and attacking straight away, in my new play through its usually 50/50 weather they survive long enough for me to deal with the ships, before the stations own defence platforms wreck the station.
