I've already found the problem. Apparently, your error is caused by not having the NPCVarians addon installed, which is necessary for guardian ants to spawn ants of their own race.

I love this mod so much my man, would you just be willing to add a convar or something? I don't mind the text-chat being used to tell whether the flashlight is about to go out or the drowning feature using it, too. It's just that the text saying, "Half Life 2 Features: Oxygen" etc. is very immersion breaking. If you could just offer a code or a modification overall that would allow us to change the format/nature of the message that'd make this addon perfect!!

es por que debes reemplazar el archivo del juego por ese nuevo, igual saca una copia de seguridad de tu archivo original por si necesitas volver al original

Hello, I am a new person to this gmod, sorry for the inconvenience, I am Latin American, but I did not understand very well how to make HL2 SKILL OVERHAUL work, since when downloading the file, unzipping it and putting it in its respective location, it conflicts with another folder with the same name, and it seems to be something important in the game. In short, I didn't understand how to make it work, help

Sometime it is boring to use HL2 RPG, and custom swep RPG are not generally that good either.

I understand the idea, and it is not difficult to implement but... What's the point? We are talking about a heavily armored machine (helicopter) and an alien being with a metal shell, both capable of resisting several RPG hits. It is equivalent to wanting to shoot down an Apache helicopter with shots from a Glock pistol.

Why do you need that feature?

Can you perhaps add an option to make combine chopper and gunship vulnerable to bullet damage? Your changes to ceiling and other turrets are great additions.

It is possible that some other addon is having conflicts with the flashlight system of this addon. I'm telling you this because I am using this function and I don't have any problems. Also try deactivating HL2Features, then uninstalling it, and finally closing the game and unsubscribing from the addon from workshop. Then resubscribe and try again. This should delete old versions of the HL2Features mod and update it to the latest version

I don't know why there could be a conflict with that mod, since I don't use it. what kind of problem do they have?

If the other author uses a cvar with the same name as the HL2 Features ones, they will have conflicts

It is possible that this NPC is not affiliated with one of the combined factions that use the helicopters. Could you tell me which faction that NPC belongs to? So I could add it to HL2 Features and the problem would be solved

I'm glad you like HL2 Features.

In this mod the health of the gunships is not affected, I also recommend downloading the HL2 SKILL OVERHAUL and modifying it to your liking, to see if that solves the problem.

GMod never notified me of a conflict with Third Person Flashlight, but I couldn't use any flashlight save the ones mounted on TFA weapons.

probably one of my favorite addons to use since it makes striders and gunships(?) more aggressive and intimidating to fight
although not sure if this addon affects gunships but for some reason they die from only one rocket now instead of taking around 3 to kill

i have an issue where whenever i spawn a combine solider from another catagory (aka a mod/add-on) and then when i spawn the hunter chooper,it just carpet bombs the combine solider till he dies

Do you also have the 'Improved Third Person flashlight' mod? I narrowed down the bug to a conflict between this mod and that one in particular. Even with the 'Features' flashlight disabled it still causes the issue.

oh and uh when npcs shoot at the combine apc they shoot at like the silhouette of the apc instead of the apc itself

from what you say, you have a conflict with another mod that is affecting the flashlight system. I just tried it myself and it's working fine.

You can disable the conflicting mod, or you can disable the flashlight system in the HL2Features menu.

like when I press F the flash light comes on but immediately goes off like its out of battery even tho I have just spawned or have been standing still without using it prior.

I have achieved it. HL2 NPCs now recognize APCs and will fight against them. use the menu for more settings

Hey TRA can you make the rebels shoot the APC with RPGs? They dont react they just ignore it and pretend that the APC doesnt exist. Would be very helpful for NPC Battles
