Looks like I might have fixed the anti-grav engine to use engine rooms but forgot to upload it. Updated mod to game version 0.28 with fix.

@DawnOfWolfy - The pro engine room in the mod works fine. It adds 75% to the engines.

BTW, the resource collector has been removed from this mod since it was removed from the game (causing the crash). I also updated the mod added equipment to mimic the current changes to the 'same' default equipment.

Mod updated Aug 21, 2024 to game version 0.27.0 - Let me know if you see any errors, seems to be working fine but it is a lot of new equipment to test.

No longer works for me either. Used to work with all the other mods I had installed. But I had to disable this one in order to play my game again. Bummer because I loved it.

Any ideas on how to adjust the mod, to at least get it to run, got some holiday time coming, would love to try this game again, but really like to have this mod working!

Hi there, It seems that i'm having the same problem.
same too for the Crash report with it being limited to 1000 Characters.
Depending on the problem I can post the first 20 lines if your unable to replicate the crash?
Thank you for your effort on this, Its been a good mod and would be amazing to see it work on the current build.

With game version 0.23.1 the vanilla resource collector was updated for more speed and went from 8 to 16. This mod is still faster at 20.

Prototype Flak Cannon has been created and is in testing. More range, wider firing arc, more damage.
After testing I will upload a new version with this addition.

I have created a prototype resource collector.

It uses less power, double the range, vastly increased collection speed, and way less noise. I also added a phazer modulation to the sound it makes so it is not as irritating, as least to me. I still need to change the color of the tractor beam and then it will be ready.

@Washeen - What were you doing when this error happened? I have been using the Pro Tractor beam without problems. You may want to verify your Steam Game Files because my mod is pointing to the default 'common effects' game shader where you are getting the error.

Thanks for the report @Med Man. I have uploaded a new version where I added the fix and also added the new mask as well as the random shield hit sounds on the small version of the shield.

Multiplayer shield crashing issues. "No component named 'ArcShield' in part 'williesea.shield_gen_sun'." seems to be the corona shield causing the crash when placed

You can turn off the buggy crew management in the games options until the developer fixes the issue.

I just verified, the code for the vanilla armor and this mods armor are the same (except value changes) to it is not this mod that is the problem. It is the new 'crew management' feature that is the problem.

@Rhavis, I will have a loot at the armor to see if anything has changed on the game side. I have experience this as well with crew construction turned on. I have also reported the crash to the developer since it is NOT the mod crashing, it is the game code.

New game, started building prototype armor to replace current ship armor, wouldn't build so went back in to cancel build, game crashed.

Pro Armor? I have been using it without any issues. Are you doing something when it crashes? Are you sure it is the armor, the error log should give a clue as to what is wrong.

I just now went in game and do not have that problem. I flew to a space station and sat right next to it. I then changed some of the Pro Lasers to Pro point defense. No parts were taken by the station, all left over parts were picked up by my crew. I then changed back to the Pro Lasers and the same happened. I don't have any limitation on what my crew will pick up in space and I have plenty of 'open' cargo holds.

I think I found the issue, if you build near a space station it behaves strangely. Parts from this mod are deconstructed then reconstructed causing the crash if you have the prototype laser on your ship.

sry - still getting a crash when "manually" building a small prototype laser. The prototype point defense and mining laser work fine.

Okay, I have determined the mod crashes ONLY when you have 'I hate construction' setting unchecked. So I have fixed the blaster so it should work with that new setting.

Let me know if you still have trouble with the mod.

@lobosan - When I make the recommended change by Sir Evans the game crashes for me. The mod as is does not crash for me.

@lobosan - I am not getting an error with the small blasters, I just loaded it up again and there is no problem. Also, 'Turret' does exist in 'laser_sblaster_master.rules'.

I get a crash bug with the new build mechanic. Sir Evans figured out a fix for his turrets.

@Om, not at this time. I did some testing and the biggest reactor supplied enough power for my uses.
