Yeah sure I can add you on Steam and send you the PBO of one of the missions. It should be noted that allen.j.huber gave me permission to modify the missions since his teamember doesn't play A3 anymore. But yeah I can send one over no problem. Yeah and I understand about mission flow. I do like it, something different even though it's Altis.

Thanks m8.Gald you like it.The South Asia and the South Sharani are a fave of mine.Tbh m8, i pushed myself hard to get these missions to a satisfactory standard scripting wise.The latest versions are the best coded imho.I did look into the random locations but that is another level of skill again.I did see your missions and was interested in looking into combining both.
But i will say that not having the missions random allows for nicer flow of mission making.These heli missions arent just putting LZ's anywhere.There is alot of mission flow and level design invovled. E.g. if these LZ's were random players would getting next locations too close to bother with imho.

I like the mission, but is there a way to do it random locations rather than a set pattern? I do that with my "Pilot XX" series that I inherited, but it would be cool if you did that for this one if possible. Other than I like the mission, thanks for this.

All right!
Appologies, I ended up sending just part of the message. Anyway, in case it helps you tracking down stuff:
-It happened both using Huron and BlackHawk (I didn't try other aircrafts);
-Seems like one of the troops in PZ1 doesn't like to fly, and so refuses to enter the helicopter - that way, we don't get the nice radio warning "all on board!", but the drop at LZ1 works perfectly;
-When arriving to PZ2, we get the ETA 30seconds message, and support planes smoke' em all as they should, but when we arrive there, there are no troops at all - neither enemies nor allies waiting.
I have even called the support black hawk to try and force something, but the mission stucks there.

Regardlesss, again: i LOVE the other maps missions, hope you can fix this stuff as well.

Hi m8, Thanks for letting me know.:steamthumbsup:I updated some code for better fps a lil while ago and musta screwed the pooch somehow.Will look into asap.Iirc , i played the SP/MP version thru after updating it.:)

I don't know whether you are still rocking upon such nice missions, but today was the first time I played this Altis one, and found a few glitches between LZ1 -> PZ2 . I used to play A LOT both Malden and Tanoa versions, so played them again today and those ones worked great. ;-)

Hey want really like to try this but I get an error message (SP and self host): steamMPMIssion/__cur_mp.Altis/mission.sqm/Mission/Entities/Item272.type : Vehicle class ModuleCAS_ANZ_Medium_F no longer exists.
Tested it with my mod config, your recommend mods and no mods. Same issue.

Are you using the SP/MP version? If so its a start up param found in the Mp section.Otherwise if its the SP version it should be in the action menu.I might put those actions in the MP version.

I can't seem to find out how to change the time. I have read it is at the computer but when i go to the computer it only spawns helis in. if someone could help that would be great.

Thanks for the feedback and extensive testing.If i get time i 'll look into the mod you lenked to.I like the ideas.Not sure if any of the fuys want to record more chat sounds.I kept alot of the chat generic so i can port the mission to different terrains.I could have a dig around in the chat for the campaign and see whats there.

On an unrelated note while I've got your ear, I might suggest more LZ instructions from infantry in the field- Typically a FAC or squad calling for a hot extract would specify what direction the enemy is or suggest an avenue of approach, and when selecting an LZ would give warnings about dangers in and around. Ex. "Hot extract, contacts to the north and east. Large rocks in the LZ."

Alright, here's my report: After extensive testing of large-scale battles in Zeus and other missions, I can conclude that the frame drops are directly related to the napalm strikes and no other particle effects such as smoke. I couldn't find napalm in the CAS modules of Zeus, but I was able to spawn napalm aircraft and use Drongo's Air Ops to order napalm strikes.
After testing multiple combinations of AI mods, I can say my frame drops were specific to interaction between napalm strikes and the Platoon Leader mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2094333651) . It is not supposed to effect hostile AI, but it does come with a packaged wounding/revive system which I suspect had a poor interaction with the constant damage of the napalm.

AI/revive mods are not necessary for a pilot mission, so I'm simply going to drop them from my lineup when I play your missions, but if you like challenges it might be fun to investigate what's going wrong.

if the issue is just before the strike it may be linked to smoke grenades as a yellow one is spawned at the time you mentioned.

I tried with settings on both ultra and low, still experienced the same. I use a whole suite of particle heavy mods (Splendid smoke, enhanced crash sites, blastcore tracers, etc) and have negligible frame drops with the rest of them. The issue begins actually a few frames before the napalm detonates, and persists until several frames after the fire disappears, whether it is visible on my screen or not. I suspect it has something to do with AI reacting to it- going to disable some AI mods and try again.

I love your missions but for some reason your napalm specifically kills my framerate. An option to turn these strikes off would be a life-saver.
