@DieselEngine The MP5 depicted in the image is indeed equipped with a cylindrical muzzle break. However, you are incorrect about the MP5 from Half Life 1. That weapon does indeed have a suppressor. The specific model in Half Life 1 is an MP5SD3. It has an integral suppressor built into the gun. In fact, the weapon actually had a suppressed firing sound in the original alpha version of the game, but for some reason was changed in the retail version.

So I think there is some merit to this mod if you use it alongside Juniez's Classic Weapons pack, which replaces Black Mesa's MP5 with the version from the original Half Life 1.

That's not a suppressor, it's a muzzle brake to protect the M203 from the muzzleflash.

Yep, I'm sure. It's muzzle brake, I have the same on the civilian version of MP5A2.
