Actually, you don't even need to be linked to a RoG world for infinite amounts of nightmare fuel. Hamlet has a structure called the ends well that will turn any item you put in into a shadow creature, allowing for super easy farming.

Yeah, when I get the time I might add config options for the durability restored when using nightmare fuel. By "cannot be easily reequipped" I am referring to the fact that it drops on the ground and can not be moved from its spot without having it equipped. Ultimately though, its up to you if you feel that the cloak is balanced or not, I really just created the mod so people who dislike the cloak may find it a little more enjoyable/rewarding. (Also I just like making mods for fun)

I think as someone who has a Hamlet world connected to RoG world where I just have INFINITE amounts of Nightmare Fuel from Ruins rushing I never really saw the issue with the amount of refilled, though maybe 5% is indeed too little. 10-15% could be fine, 20% is too much personally but its your mod so you do what u want lol. The thing about Vortex Cloak is that it combines the two things you use most in the body slot - armor and backpack and it does it really well. Not sure what the hell "cannot be easily reequipped" means though.

Yes, I think it might be pretty decent too, though I never survive long enough to get it. My only knowledge of it being bad comes from a few youtubers. Really the main flaw they point out is how being a backpack makes hard to properly use as an armor as it can not be easily reequipped, and that the durability gain from using nightmare fuel is way too small. So I just changed both.

I think I know how this is happening. In simple terms, the root trunk works by creating an invisible chest at the center of the world, and this master chest sends and receives inventory data from the root trunks you craft. Because caves are separate from the surface, a new master chest is created there, which explains the different inventory. I think the crashing might be occurring because the game tries to open the vortex cloak before it generates the master chest for the caves, and as such hits an error as it is trying to access the data of a chest that does not exist yet. I should be able to fix both of these bugs by reworking the root trunk to be based off of a global variable instead of a world specific prefab.

oh lol, i mean caves in reign of giants, sorry for the mispell, understod the reason to remove the backpack aspect of it

i was testing early, the chashes ocour only when entering the cave for the first time, also the inventory of the cloak changes when you are inside, or outside the caves

Caves do not exist in shipwrecked, also, the main reason I gave this feature to the cloak was because it was impractical as both a backpack and an armor as it could not properly be used as an armor due to being unable to enter the inventory
