When I enter the pirate heavens there are no guards waiting for me at the start so I cannot even interact with the dude to let me in (nor can I tell him to fuk off) but this also makes the station passive against me even when I destroy the door and start killing them for some reason. Idk how or why, could it be an incompability?
Also for some reason I get the pirate message that plays on the control monitor when theres an enemy pirate vessel in the area

@Casse: You need to wire a button to the "toggle_state" input or a lever/switch to the "set_sate" input of the music player. You also need a music disc inside it.

@Trollge: You need some knowledge of XML files for that. I'll probably make a separate mod that can then be copy-pasted and adjusted for ease of use including a guide on how to adjust things.
However you can also join the DynamicEuropa discord and we can help you out there.

I put a speaker on the submarine but the music does not play from it, what is something to make it work or I just caught a bug?

@豐參 輝群: You'd have to make a custom patch to add an EventSet which is set to trigger 100% of the time at every outpost to trigger the event to hand out the mission.

@A Slightly Hungry Honey Badger: Adding this mid-campaign might result in not finding any pirate outposts. However the new missions and thus the new submarines can still be encountered.

@少しできます: I think they don't spawn in when they're hostile when you have a bad reputation with them or have a too high reputation with the coalition.

One of the most fatal problems I encountered was when I played Dynamic Europa recently, and the pirate outpost had to pay 1000 bucks to get in, didn't it? But lately, I don't know why the person in charge of charging at the front desk of the outpost has disappeared, and it's hard to find out what the reason is in the console

So far, pirate ships have mostly sunk instantly, and due to AI issues, sometimes they don't even bother repairing the hull. This mod is cooooooooooooool

I tried doing it by myself by giving them more health,body armors and ballistic helmets, but when we fought against them in my multiplayer campaign eventually the game crashed for everyone and I had that status effect that says "Lualess" even though all of us have Lua installated and activated.

@Rebel: Because it's easier and less buggy on outposts to have them not be a faction. It also wouldn't really change much making them a faction here so it's not worth the hassle.

@Rollye: They sadly don't, but I'll look into making them scale if possible.

Do the pirates in the outposts scale with the current difficulty of the map? For example, do they have more health/better weapons/there are more if you are on difficulty 70% than in 50%?

You need a music player to play the music discs. You can buy one from the shopping machine in the docking module of pirate stations or by detaching and stealing it from a raving pirate vessel.

I found couple of CD's but can't seem to make them play.
Is there some special noncraftable component that you can only get via pirate vessels or their outposts?

@BattleLars: In this standalone version you just have to reduce your coalition reputation. Pirates just hate coalition people since they are actively hunting them down.
If you're playing with DynamicEuropa instead, then there's some random events that may increase your "Bandit" reputation, but if you messed up completely and they hate you, it's hard to get back on good terms with them currently.

@Tyler Blevins: No, the entire map is generated at the start of the campaign, even if you didn't enter any other biome, they're all already generated.

There is an issue with the More Missions mod, Wich spawns a Outpost Manager npc on the pirate havens.

@dogzala: That's odd. I'm not sure what exactly would cause this. Could be a mod conflict or perhaps if you're using Performance Fix, it maybe skipped something important which resulted in the submarine's self-destruction to activate. I'll test a bit on the weekend and see if I can reproduce the issue.

I started a strange pirate vessel mission, and the pirate ship killed itself within seconds after starting the mission. Any way to fix this?

@SilkMoth: Yes, all the pirate reactors don't consume fuel so they will not change fuel rods and thus don't die from radiation before you reach them.

@ProtoTypeRaavyn: Ohhh I think the missions no longer unlock because vanilla uses a different mission tag now... I'll have to add them via custom mission events then. I generally have to bring this more up to date with the changes made to its content in DynamicEuropa. Don't know when I'm done with it, but should hopefully be this weekend :steamthumbsup:
