Sadly, Gotterdammerung broke this mod at last. It can't even reach the game map before crashing.

(I'm also only here for the cyber/mech stuff)

ive got the greatest idea for an update if ur up for it

turn the entire mod into special projects that link into eachother like the current tech tree (except industry that can probably stay its own thing)

Huh. Well, I'm actually glad it does. Maybe the actual devs have done less research changes - actually that would make sense, I suppose. I would have thought the new DLC would have added something, but maybe not.

@ e. - given that the mod has been unupdated even longer than mine is, it's absolutely not gonna work. Once the next RT56 patch hits, I'll update this one. At least mech-side. I'm expecting some changes to RT56 that would mean I'd just have to update it again next RT56 patch ANYWAYS.

Yeah, I need to figure out how to restore those buildings and remember how I made them update right for the mech tree.

MIO are disappear in Production line.
(just disappear. not disable. i find out MIO are actually works when assign.
i think RT56 was updated yesterday. that's why MIO are disappear. ....maybe?)

Holy church and Special forces training center are disabled in Construction.
(Player can't get 'prayer' and 'holy crystal')

I dunno, I didn't do much other than unhide the Holy Tree by request. I know that it's mutually exclusive with all the robot stuff.

Okay as far as I can tell it works now. Stuff's researchable, anyways. I'm not actively playing HOIV right now, so let me know if anything (other than planes or the holy tree) is not working and I'll see about squaring it away.

The holy tree's clickable now, but I still don't like it, so there's a disclaimer in the title.

Tried with the same setup of RT56+this and it seems you can't research stuff that involves a MIO and Mechanized Infantry tab is broken

Okay, maybe it DOESN'T need an update for AAT. I just booted in with a tiny (RT56+this) mod list and it's working fine. Other than whatever's going on with the Air Wings - but they can still be quick deployed.

If anybody's having trouble let me know.

The issue with only getting 1 AI general is in the naming. In the file SRD_cyber-decisions in the folder decisions. There are only 2 AI inf and 2 breakthrough generals defined, but both have the same name for the 2 defined generals.
Generals (or rather characters) cannot have the same name, at least when being created like this, without a character file in the character folder.
I just added a 2 after each name of the 2nd Inf and BT general and they where created.
So in order to get unlimited amount of generals the name somehow needs to be randomized, with for example a number.
Unfortunately i don't know if that is possible nor howto

BBA def messed with the air code, and a few other things. On my goals list in the long run is to convert the drone stuff to gear for the plane and tank designers, but... yeah. Work eats free time.

I have looked into it myself and compared it to the original. My theory is that the By blood alone dlc somehow interferes with the code since the original functions correctly.

I'll try to look into that after I get some sleep. I usually don't do it more than once, so that's how it slipped by.

I also looked at bringing the Holy stuff back but it ended up being a lot more work than I was expecting, so that's further along the pipeline. I really don't like all the 40k references.

Found that you can generate only one of each artificial commander. If you use the decision for creation of them more times than 1 you will still have only 1 artificial commander of each type.

Hmm. I think that'd be harder that it seems since I'd have to set a conditional for every last research, and there's still no guarantee they wouldn't act like morons - I'm not super familiar with HOI4's AI, but I'm not sure they'd ever build the necessary resource factories and given how recently they derped around with armored cars it might make them worse, not better.

As far as I saw/remember, the AI doesn't have any information on how to utilize these technologies. In fact, I think there's a Factor 0 (so 0% chance) on the opening techs to prevent them from doing it at all.

I'm not sure. The mod files don't seem to do anything to the AI, but I don't know much about that side of modding (and its been a while since I played with the mod, so memory doesn't help here either).

Do nations other than player nations use the new techs? Might be a more fitting question for the original mod maker, but they take months to answer stuff.
